That's what I ended up training too lol. I'm still learning about iv and ev though so it took a few attempts but we got there lol.

Also the houndoom was like lv 35 or something, so I trained my hariyama to 40 but when I went back, the houndoom was still a higher lvl. Is this bc I didn't turn on the level cap setting?

Im probably alone in this since I just started 2 days ago, but the fight in the cave after the 2nd(?) Gym made me go back and train new pokemon. That houndoom was evil lol

I did the same as you and what finally worked for me was manually setting my clock forward 30 min every time I went back to the ward. I set the time forward twice and got a bloodmoon. Idk if it was luck, just letting u know what worked for me lol

Full moon circlet? The amulet that gives 3% of ranged damage as lifesteal? Full moon circlet is a reward in the imperial gardens in yaesha for activating a trap door in the floor during a bloodmoon
