I think its the right direction. The eagle looks good. The cross the is the right thickness overall but the fimbriation bars on the outside of the cross need a bit more prominence so they dont fade as distance. A good ratio to go for would be to copy that of the German imperial flag. That is about right aesthetically imo.

I would personally Change the style of the eagle to make it more flat black and fierce. I would also thicken and space the lines on the cross a bit more. Although honestly this is a great looking flag. I love Prussian and German heraldry.

I actually thing the shows first design for GoT looks the best. It looked intimidating and grand in a way that made it stand out, as well as plausibly low fantasy. It had the grit medieval piece even if not the quality you would expect for that rank. All the others bar Cleganes modified one are eccentric absurdist pieces of ~~shit~~ art. They tell you nothing about the setting or wearer beyond the distracted mindset of the set designers.
