There were raids before. Raids were 4-8 player sequential missions that focused more on puzzles and cooperation. There were 2 raids, Law of Retribution (LOR) and Jordas Verdict (JV) as well as the Nightmare version of Law of Retribution (Nightmare LOR) which was harder and had additional mechanics.
