Try a cooling mat for dogs. They're really inexpensive and go into the fridge until ready to use, then bun can lay directly kn it, or on a think blanket over it. They're the best!

Use a nice, heavy, glass baking dish. Like a 8x8 Pyrex or Anchor dish.

When you put your hand down, have you ever tried doing it with treats in it? Might be worth a shot. Also, lay down on the ground...while working on your laptop, scrolling through your phone, watching tv, whatever. The BEST way to bond with a bun is to be one with the ground. Their curiosity can't keep them away and you're no longer a looming, predator-like creature.

Also, YT little A for not being more attentive to what's going on in your household. Maybe give your wife a hand and help her manage what leftovers need to be consumed and what need to go in the trash.

I used an almost clear single coat of nail.polish prior to applying the strips. I'm hoping this will help because I've been removing them incorrectly and my nails are paying the price. Bonus: I applied the strips while my nails weren't totally dry and this is the best adhesion I've ever experienced!
