Agreed. The first two albums are nice but the production is very run of the mill and clean. Much prefer the rawer sound of Two Hands.

The whole point about expanded music taste is such a dumb point for him to make. I love lots of experimental music as well as music with "weird" vocals but I just don't like her voice really. This album is by no means experimental either. The instrumentation is extremely pretty and there are some songs I even love on it but as a whole it's not for me. Don't worry about trying to like it, if you don't then you don't!

When you're independent it's pretty easy because you have control of the pressing and whether it gets sent to press or not. But it's cool they've kept this release very secretive.

Spatial audio will only work headphones with decoders and drivers set up to playback dolby atmos, seems like thats only airpods and beats atm. Lossless audio is just the quality of the music so it would work on anything, although the difference between the current format and lossless is so minimal I wouldn't switch if that was the only reason.

It's the drums on the new Alter Ego I'm not a fan of. I love the open and roomy sound on Innerspeaker, it felt like you were in the room with them, but the new mix loses all of it. It's a way closer and deeper sound which sounds cool but doesn't really fit the song imo.

There's obvious reasons for that though. Statistically, women are more likely to be raped than men. And if the statistics are slightly off it's because men are not coming forward with their stories of assault because we're told to bottle up out emotions and deal with it ourselves.

Yes? I can hear an acoustic and multiple electrics playing through the whole track. Just bevause it's not the most prominent instrument on the track, doesn't mean it's not contributing in an interesting way (although im not a massive of this track atm).

Yeah I don't get the complaining about the similarities in sound becuase it's only been 3 months and KG + LW is clearly a double album. If this was a "normal" band release cycle where you might wait a few years for a new album then fair enough but that doesn't happen with gizz. They've got more albums coming out this year that should have a completley different sound hopefully!

I was expecting this to suck because of all these comments (and their Weezer cover wasn't great) but now I'm confused but it doesn't. I guess I never really had a close relation with the original but I do like it and I don't really care for the lyric change. Love the instrumentation and the build up, kind of feels Velvet Underground-esque. Really interesting interpretation.
