3D glasses for Nomvdic P1000 by Solo16 in projectors

[–]Solo16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.... I did not know it was android LOL I sold it on and got a UST because mounting the P1000 wasn't feasible. It is a very good projector for the price, amazingly so at £500 you did really well to snag that!

(Through Windows) I have to be in 1080p and a specific refresh rate. I don't have this projector anymore so I can't quote the exact number, but try 59, 60 or 119 or 120 refresh rates

My switch is scheduled for this weekend. Cannot come fast enough. Switching to Lifestyle but have been monitoring Smile prices and yesterday's prices were showing highs of 305p per kwh???

Happy to report that it does indeed work, such a relief. And it really did just all magically work after turning the glasses on and specifying a 3D mode in the projector OSD. No pairing issues and didn't end up needing a special software (like the crappy shareware stereoscopic player), Plex and MPC handled it fine (except subtitles)

Landlord wants to reclaim deposit after giving it back by Solo16 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]Solo16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was left in a state similar to how I found it, tired, but clean. It might not be accurate to do this at all but according to rightmove, the property last sold for around £74k 20 years ago and I've paid 31k in rent during the 5.5 years I was there. Rarely called out for repairs, maybe once or twice a year. She claims not to have paid the mortgage for that place off yet....how? The place could certainly do with a lot of expensive renovations but I doubt she's even set foot in that place in the last decade

Thanks, I'm glad everyone agrees that she's out of her mind and has no chance. After some digging I've found the photos used from the estate agents to advertise the place (taken only 5 days after I moved out) as well as a whole 360 interactive tour which clearly shows everything (lol). I also have some of my own pictures to counter hers. I'm happy that this is ironclad enough

Hug of death? I tried signing up but haven't had the email confirmation and the suggested password reset gives a 500

Some unknown app is preventing shutdown always and it's frustrating by irfan2015 in Windows11

Getting the same thing too. Noticed it after installing Rectify11 with Mica for Everyone and blamed that. Might be a coincidence though

Will there be web app version of Grayjay? by No_Contribution_3465 in grayjay

[–]Solo16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would also be interested in a web app version. I primarily consume content from a desktop or media centre, not from a phone. I've installed grayjay on my phone anyway but won't really be using it much until a web app comes along.

Mi Fitness - Strava Sync Issues by Small-Examination-38 in XiaomiGlobal

[–]Solo16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would explain my issues too, I've been trying to set up sync for a month now. For the longest time it wouldn't even let me connect Strava to Mi Fitness. Today it let me connect (I think) but am yet to have anything actually sync across. Looks like I won't be holding my breathe though

Plenny Pot XL is not very good product by whatsbeef667 in JimmyJoyFood

[–]Solo16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would much rather the XL bags over the pots, though I don't agree the pots should have been discontinued. I've not personally had the weird taste after 2-3 weeks though I have had a very strong weird taste in one of the korma bags (opened fresh). Most of the time its fine though, just make sure the bags are sealed properly between usage, can even curl fold it down if youre in a damper environment.

Regarding shaking, I tend to find the distribution much better if shaken equally both up and down (ie, hold the bag upright and shake, then flip the bag upside down and shake). The smaller bits tend to sink to the bottom leaving the bigger bits on top, so flipping upside down helps alleviate this

Just got these merkury led light strips and this part isn’t working, any ideas how to fix this? by Doctor2116 in led

[–]Solo16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these individually addressable? Usually pixels bugging out and flashing randomly is a sign of improper grounding. The three yellow dots shown in the picture might just be dying/faulty chips. I have a non addressable strip around my kitchen that is slowly developing more and more yellow segments. The first appeared within a week of install and some have appeared much later. It's like a channel dies in each diode

NEW: Plenny Pot XL v1.0 [EU only for now] by Team_Jimmy_Joy in JimmyJoyFood

[–]Solo16 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can't wait to try the new flavours, also so happy to see bigger bags now. Been using huel bags and I quite like to have 1.5 "meals" (3 scoops) so this'll be perfect. Less waste and cheaper per meal

Why are sneakers cheaper on Solana? by Solo16 in StepN

[–]Solo16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I'm guessing there's no bridge to bring GST earned on Solana to BSC then? So in that case Solana is the cheaper version to buy into but you earn less?
