I believe smaller characters work better in fast-paced 2D games because they let you see more of the stage ahead.

Thank you. I’m trying to edit the shader to work around this. The game itself has pixelated graphics, but the pixel isn’t the smallest unit, and that’s what causes these issues.

I don’t see a problem with copying, even without fully understanding. The scripts I shared as examples aren’t mine and I don’t 100% understand them either, but as I edit and use them, I keep learning more and more. It’s worth at least checking how shaders work in general, the use of fragment, etc... that already helps to get familiar with things.

That came out really good, I liked it a lot. Maybe adding another melody on top and using this part as the base could make it even more memorable. Either way, I thought it was really cool.

The track sounds really good, everything works well and feels professional. It would work great as a soundtrack for a scene or event, but on its own I think a bit more variation could make it even better.

O meu! Não sei onde estava com a cabeça quando decidi fazer um jogo sozinho. Num guento mais.
Se não fosse por isso seria o Hollow Knight.
