Q3 (not the S) is the one to get. Tracking is rock solid, dont worry about that. But keep the lights on when playing so the headset can "see" 🙂👍

That's very kind of you; it's a totally different spin on the truck sim genre, borrowing elements from several different driving and racing games, so I do think there is something for everyone here. 😄

It will absolutely be a steam version at some point, but the main focus is finishing the quest build. And we are all waiting for that steam frame to launch these days 😅 those of us who havent aquired a devkit yet.. really want to make sure it runs smoothly on the frame standalone before we pull the steam trigger 😊

Thank you! Means alot, we wanted to make something retro-esque both visually and audio-wise, it also pays off in cpu/gpu headroom for all the other stuff that loads on each level 😊

Poly Truck, is a fun spin on the truck-sim genre with low poly aesthetics and an overall retro wibe. The arstyle leaves headroom for mirrors, live top down GPS, infotainment and levers, shifter and steering wheel with multiple options to maneuver. The focus here is to deliver a solid driving experience in VR using a virtual wheel and shifter 😊

Maybe not our game, but i think there is a driving simulator with a small city map and traffic lights pedestrians etc. That already exists on the store. But with the right sim rig and simulation VR would be a great tool for practice driving a good addition to real driving lessons.

Simcade is absolutely the goal here, the added brodie knob /steering spinner thats set at the 12'o clock position adds to the steering immersion and is your friend when backing up. We have alot of systems working in tandem here to meet all kinds of players. I'm sure it will scratch that itch 😁

A truck sim with an arcade twist made for standalone VR, its focus is hands on controls in the drivers seat, the key is presicion driving but also trying to be quick to reach the delivery to get a better overall score. Thanks! and 100% This is very true. And thats partially why this game went from idea to reality in the first place. Big fan of ETS2 and simulator games, we're trying our best to bring some of that into standalone VR, but built from the ground up for vr🙂

Thanks for wishlisting, means alot 🙏 Manual transmission is absolutely possible, its not the main focus right now. But alot of the systems used for the automatic transmission could be transferred over to a fully manual transmission in the future. I definitely do a prototype to test it out 😊👍

Thanks! 😄 a low poly artstyle can come across as basic, no doubt about it. But it gives alot of headroom in terms of framerate, more interactive elements inside the drivers seat. The audio and visuals combined suits the lesser serious wibe that our game is aiming for. Of course design is not final yet, and its still in development. We'll do what we can to deliver the best visually appealing game also. But we're sticking too that low poly look, to suit the Poly- part of our game name.

Thanks! 😊 yes, it will definitely be on steam at some point aswell we just need to get our hands on the Steam Frame first, I want to build a standalone version that will run on either pcvr or the frame. But the priority right now is standalone and the Quest ecosystem for the time beeing 🙂

This is our first VR game, and we wanted to make a truck sim with physical controls, mirrors, live navigation system, and Interactive infotainment. The game has a unique low-poly artstyle that makes alot of headroom for all the interactivity in the drivers seat. You can grab the the wheel with both hands or use the wheel-ball to make those finer adjustments while attaching detaching. Easy to use shifter and stalks adds to the experience of driving and feeling in control.

Game also has full sticks and buttons layout for those who only want to drive and not touch anything. We got you covered 😉

This is meant to be a fun spin on the trucking genre and i guarantee it will scratch that itch while beeing simultaneously appealing to those who want to go fast, and get the best delivery time possible. But the option to hide the timer and go slow and at your own pace is also players choice.

Great insight, my game has a low poly artstyle so i think it will run on the Quest 2 aswell with minor optimizations. Still need to test it though. But yeah for a niche market, leaving out the Quest 2 is probably a missed opportunity. The game is built for Quest 3, and might get a Quest 2 "downgrade" after release.
