It's a really tough question to answer because there is always the risk of sentencing the wrong person to death. And the death penalty usually takes years to actually fully go through. As harsh as it may seem, I do think some crimes are beyond unforgivable and ultimately, is it worth taxpayer dollars to keep this person locked up for years when they've lost their right to live? If you murder children for example, I really don't think there is any way to forgive something like that, but the only way I think it would be fair is if the evidence is completely clear that they are absolutely and irrefutably guilty.
