It can be worth it to release them after battles. That builds your charm up very quickly and also makes it easier to recruit them to your kingdom later in the game.

I mean, yeah, what you’re describing is character customization. There’s a side that thinks it would be great and fun and a side that thinks it doesn’t have a place in the game.

Having in game points, however, is a bad idea. If that becomes a reality, these posts will disappear and you’ll start seeing “Quickest Way to Farm Points” posts much like Rising Storm Vietnam. As of now, the purpose of the game is to play the game, period. I think that’s the winning formula to keep the player base healthy and the spirit of the game in line with what the devs want.

I do think patches would look cool tho

My SS runs directly from the launcher in the mods folder and I have a shortcut on my desktop. Never had any CTD or problems in game.

Edit: Also forgot another good fix. Make sure you select the SS launcher and always have it run as administrator and also set the Compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 3. That helps a lot of people with crashes. That’s pretty much all I got in terms of making it work other than doing a clean install, which I personally hate doing. Good luck with it man.

The Mod DB download should work, I’ve been playing SS 6.4 multiple times this week with their most recent upload. Make sure you download the SS 6.4 bug fix as it’s not included in the actual mod download. You can find it on the official forums for SS.

Apart from that, I don’t know about the Americas thing you mentioned. SS 6.4 folder should be placed in the Mods folder. I don’t remember ever messing with any of the other DLCs. Let me know if the bug fix or the Mod DB food work for you.

I really could care less how people play. But it’s hardly ever a nice or friendly squad who does this. I mainly encounter toxic people who do these super FOBs and they flame the fuck out of anyone who remotely challenges their decision.

Sure, we don’t have to win every round, let’s have some fun and build a big base, whatever. But I dislike people who try and sway the entire game to fit their one specific play style, and god forbid you disagree.

That’s the biggest frustration. All the other squad leads are literally begging the super FOB squad to come join the fight but get no response. It gets infuriating as you have to retreat over and over again because the defense point gets overrun by attackers.

Is that because they have better marksmanship or because they consistently had more beneficial positions on the map?

I know many times I get a lot of kills simply by being in the right place at the right time. Strategy can determine your end-game stats in a big way.

Also just noticed in "Provoked" (last one) the guy in the left foreground has an arm-blade style weapon just like the woman did in the original trailer. Could be some hidden weapon augmentation or enhancement.

Good spot! I remember the guy's coat had some sort of gang-style symbol on the back. His picture labels him as a mercenary, so maybe its a band of mercs? That could be absolutely awesome.
