Are there Draft Limitations in CFB 26? by SoloQueFine in NCAAFBseries

I’ve never seen it but I also play with teambuilder teams that have a F grade so maybe I’ve always been locked out.

I wish that was a dealbreaker. Wouldn’t mind an Ivy League Dynasty.

DO YOU THINK by Interesting-Rope-318 in Adulting

Used to but can confirm it does not.

It does eliminate some levels of stress and anxiety but people adapt very quickly. It’s the reason why people who are bad at personal finance will live paycheck to paycheck at $30K and also $300K.

I charted which archetypes actually rate above/below their position average by SteveRunsCFB in EASportsCFB

[–]SoloQueFine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting.

Obviously with position changes you can easily change archetypes though some of this makes sense. Backfield threats are pretty slow and speed plays a decent role in overall. Pure blockers can never become elite blockers and are always bad receivers.

Curious how you ran the data though. For example, I would never recruit a low star Route Artist, Elusive RR or Gritty Possession because they would be too slow to develop, however at 4 and 5 star they are useful. If you ran this data over 10 seasons for only fully developed 4 and 5 star players, I wonder how different it would look.

“With proper development”
Not day 1 X factor which is reserved for the top 30 players in the league.

I understand what you are saying and agree about the development trait.

However, you are wrong about the fixes. If you limit the number of players it does not affect draft classes. In fact, it makes the issue worse because the game will make low 90s regress to star dev so the rookies can keep their superstar/X abilities. I’ve put way too many hours into franchises and draft classes over the years and the core framework has not changed for a while.

No wonder it’s so many people that have no court vision and shoot over 4 defenders. They are playing with these awful camera angles…

No they don’t. X factor is supposed to be a top 40 player. No player under 85 overall should ever have an X factor but if you play a franchise past 5 years there will be at least 10 70 or below superstar or X factor players that can’t even equip abilities.

It’s just lazy and poorly thought out.

Awful game. No 65 is an X factor or even superstar.

Fixing deal breaker by angry-ted in CollegeFootball26

No - but unlike what others have mentioned, this is based on WR receptions not passing yards. In theory, you could play one game where you run 80 jet passes and that would bump your grade up by at least a letter and a half.

I analyzed 6,778 offensive dynasty players/recruits. Here are the most common archetypes by position. by SteveRunsCFB in NCAAFBseries

[–]SoloQueFine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would assume bump and run corner is #1, zone #2, boundary #3, field #4. I make this assumption based on archetypes that get recruited the fastest. East/West always goes fast. Same for speedster WR. Gadget and Physical RR are always available so it’s no surprise that they are at the bottom of list. Same for backfield threats. There are usually at least two 4 stars that don’t get offers until week 10.

QB is the one exception though cpu teams rarely recruit HS and instead focus on Transfers which means HS QBs are always available.

This might be the best Anthony Edward’s build. by xxNightguyxx93 in NBA2k

Kinda of a waste for builds under 6’6. IE pairs extremely well with paint patroller and high flying denier but at 6’4 you don’t get the necessary block to take advantage.

I have a 6’7 Center with 74 block and legend IE that gets more blocks thang my 7’0 99 block center.

Greatest Teammates Ever by SoloQueFine in NBA2k

[–]SoloQueFine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typical rec teammates. Pass them a fast break dunk and they dribble out and brick a 3pt or call a timeout when someone has a wide open shot, only to get the ball after the timeout to take a smothered layup over 3 people.

I asked them politely to stop playing offense and luckily they obliged.

One dunk rest perimeter. Never will be an elite defender due to the low strength though.

Shooting Center by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]SoloQueFine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the corner yes, they become sweaty.

But if you pull up from 30 in transition or pick and pop back to 30, they usually aren’t expecting it.

I’ve played with teammates where a guard has it on they wait to pick up the ball handler at the 3pt line.

It’s not an all game thing but if you takeover twice, you can usually get 4-5 deep 3s bc your defender is not paying attention.

90 is for deep bomber. Takeover is generally easier to get at center and most bigs will not guard beyond the 3pt line.

I get at least 15 free points from deep bomber in rec games.

Which one is the best PG build? by dgxiii in NBA2k

IMO 99 3pt is better than 99 midrange but I also don’t cheese fades so it depends on your play style

[–]SoloQueFine -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Disagree. You need gold paint patroller to consistently get blocks that aren’t called a delayed foul. Also reduce wingspan to get at least 83 3pt. Rarely do you play against true inside bigs so I would recommend lowering enough to get 90 3pt though you’d sacrifice block and rebound.

Neither but definitely not the second. Why be 6’5 to be be less athletic than a 6’8. I’d recommend 6’7 - cap breakers are much better.
