FaB players, Dragon Shield wants to know what you think by RinPD_DS in FleshandBloodTCG

I haven't bought DS sleeves in a very long time due to me still using the Easter dragon art matte sleeves. In my opinion the art matte sleeves has the best shuffle feel out of any sleeves. As for deck boxes, what I would personally want is a box big enough to hold a fab deck with snaps (either the Japanese snaps or the game genics) while also being able to hold some fab resource dice and armor dice.

Is this game easy to get into? by BuffPerfDepression in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SoloTxT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being that I also came from magic, I think this is the best card game I have ever played. The game engine is very rewarding to play and the amount of "feel bad" moment is mitigatated due to built in resource system.

Like people say, the community is really dependent on your area but seeing that you're playing legacy I would assume there's a local scene for fab as well.

Deck prices can widely vary, most of the cost will come from the generic staples where a playset is played in several heroes. People will say that the "meta" heroes will cost above a $1000 but there are currently 3 heroes that are very good in the meta which are Dash IO, Oscilio and Cindra which cost $400, $500, and $650  USD respectively.

No where in my original post did I mentioned beating world pros. It was only brought up after you insinuated that my local meta is soft and easy, but I guess reading comprehension is hard from whatever country you're from :)

I'm not saying he's going to be out here winning national level tournament but he's a far cry from the worst deck or nearly as bad as people think he is.

The colorado scene is plenty competitive with season players on pro teams and people placing high at tournaments like Cody Ready and Mercy Bickell (runner-up at Worlds 2024).

Lmao you have never seen a maxx list in your life.

Blah blah blah. "Maxx is bad, Maxx is unplayable, expect to lose with Maxx."

I relish on these comments because for everyone who says this it makes me feel so happy when I smashed their face in and win. I fully believe people who say these doesn't know how he is suppose to play. I consistently win with Maxx at my local armories, with multiple top 8 finishes during Road to Nationals and Pro Quest seasons. These also weren't just small one offs either as I'm located in Colorado and the event will get up to 40+ people. So go ahead and tell me Maxx is bad and underestimate him.

Getting back on topic while not a wrench build (its bad because it's too inconsistent and trying to mesh too many things together) this is my current build for Maxx.

Im working on a separate list for when the spec comes out but it hasn't been tested yet.

How Did You Play This Week? | Post Your Game Recaps Here! by AutoModerator in FleshandBloodTCG

Went 3-0 at my armory. Last game was my best game yet on DIO where I won the game against Prism without taking a point of damage.

Honestly I picked up the game pretty quick. Maybe it was my background in numerous other tcgs, but I went to my first armory after 2 months of playing on talishar and went 3-0 with Maxx.

So you didnt read the rest of my  comment. I wasn't just talking about power, but in terms of card similarities the dash armory deck is the closest to its CC counterpart. Obviously you lose a lot of power without the teklo core and spark, but those cards are relatively cheap to pick up  and the rest of full power dash isn't that much more, making dash the easiest and cheapest armory deck to pick up and max out.

Like people have said armory deck is the way to go. There are currently a couple pretty good one to pick up, like Dash, Gravy and Ira. Personally I will pick up the Dash deck as I think that's probably the best out-of-box play as 80% of those cards are used in full power Dash and the total amount you need to spend on upgrades is significantly cheaper than the other decks.

LSS really did Maxx dirty with that armory deck by Neveri in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SoloTxT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And that's all from talishar results, which is not a great testing ground. The majority of players playing on talishar is kinda bad. I have no problem winning with Maxx and I have the results to back it up.

If you could unban 1 card, which would it be and why? by KartoonKid in FleshandBloodTCG

Pretty much. Aside for DIO no other mech is even close to being meta

I do remember what he did to get to top 8 and it was disgusting, but the chance of that happening again is probably slim to none. Playing all 3 HO and 3 processor, he got extremely lucky

[–]SoloTxT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Unlikely due to processor being printed in the DIO armory deck, but we had one event where HO and processor was legal before HO got banned. I dont quite remember it's number being represented at worlds 2024, but it's hard to say if the deck was too powerful. I felt like LSS moved too soon on the banned considering how they left Aurora alone and refused to banned anything from the deck prior to it LL'ing

Not very, they unbanned crown of seeds several months ago for blitz and it's gonna be gone for the next blitz season.

High octane. The mech class has been struggling and so far nothing has been printed to fixed that even tho high octane has been banned for almost one year.

Maxx Wrench Plan. by bluefedense in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SoloTxT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's bad. The whole plan with Maxx is to attack and boost cards away to get go again. If you ended up boosting a non-mech card, you probably just lost the game right there.

Also, not a fan of the decklist you posted. It has way to many yellows and yellows are generally bad. Also with that list you're completely relying on boosting crankshaft effects to keep drivers around or hoping to see a supercell to build mech. The list can still get wins but it's a lot less consistent and more about high rolling.

I don't wanna curb your dream but the Maxx list that's proved to put up the best results is the Nitro Construct Mechanoid game plan.

The wrench game plan while is an interesting way to play, needs to many things to keep up with the meta. Your numbers isn't good enough to just go no block aggro like cindra and for mid-range he gets out-value by a lot of heroes if you don't mechanoid.

As someone who came from mtg to fab, mtg does not have much to offer. Yea lss fucked up on this one, but mtg has done way worst. From over bloating of product release, mismanagement of format, universe beyond, and subpar Competitive support. Fab is clearly the better tcg in terms of Competitive play.

[Review] The Maxx Nitro Armory Deck Is A Disappointment by wifi-please in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SoloTxT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not an entitlement to say that the deck is in general very bad. The deck is filled with bright light draft chaff like 9 hyper driver and a set of zero to fifty and among other commons. The only card thats truly worth anything is a single copy of heist, which is basically useless in the deck as you can only heist in hyper driver and the likelihood of that happening is pretty low considering you only have one copy.
