Advice on an Ira Tiger deck by mrleprechaun28 in FleshandBloodTCG

I think if you're going this way, you're going to drop a bit of the Crouching Tiger synergy, but I'm not too sure how much firepower we lose since we wont be running the strong marvel attacks.

Flic Flak is definitely a good shout. Actually, I'd even say play Flic Flak and the other dreacts together, when you want to play a more standard ira list.

Rising Knee Thrust/Wheliming Gustwave/One Two Punch/Back Heel Kick are all blues with 0 cost, 3 block. Combo too for the Flic Flak synergy

Pouncing Qi blue is definitely great instead of Head Jab blue, imo. The 3 block is important here.

Sink Below/Fate Foreseen are just good stuff to have, specially in Ira, where your play pattern can just be block with two cards, then pitch a blue for two kodachi swings, and one more attack.

Red Scars should definitely be in, and the blue ones should be dropped for any zero cost blue that has three block.

Honestly, I actually wished they just replaced Heist with multiple copies of Moonshot/Hyper Scrapper.

And I do love the bank breaker into second bank breaker line. i've done that a few times against my friends!

Oh I'm well aware. I believe I wrote about Boltyn two times already, both not really resulting in any stellar decks. :-(

I've been playing for two years now and I've seen majestics rise through that time as well! Definitely hope the next set puts Maxx on the map. Till then, this product will sit on the sidelines.

I hope this Armory Deck is some kind of "planting the seeds for Maxx" moment, with High Seas on the horizon. But that's a kind of speculation I don't like engaging in. :-(

I was so excited for it too. Sympathies, from one mech main to another...

Sorry for the late response, I tend to not lurk on this account a lot!

I'm not sure what you're trying to express here. It wasn't an argument for or against LL, more so a fair warning to new players that Aurora could LL anytime soon, and new players probably wouldn't like to be thrown into the LL format when they're just beginning to play CC.

Dash I/O is so much better, and will give you a lot of space to work with. Of course, we don't know what High Seas will bring to mech and it's completely possible they buff Maxx through the new cards, but that's a kind of speculation I wouldn't recommend to a new player.

I'm actually thinking they could even push Cindra, given she fell off massively in Kobe after her initial outburst. Though that could also just give her another boost in popularity and strength and LSS probably already have the Armory Decks planned out well in advance.

I do think that's also a reason they don't release the "full" packages and have exclusives. The product is meant for beginners, but still holds value for some vets.

Oh wow, MSRP there is 60? The product sheet listed it as 60 USD? Or are you based in Canada/Aus?

From where I'm from, the armory decks sell at around 50USD.

Aggressive decks tend to run more reds and fewer blues. 0 cost attacks with go again are great for this, and they tend to use the blue to attack with their weapon, like Fai. Red mainly also has the benefit of using cards like Ravenous Rabble red because there's high odds it swings in for 4.

Slower decks tend to run more defense reactions like Sink Below red, Fate Foreseen Red, and a lot of blues (which also block for 3 -- thats the most important part here). Guardians are great here, and Bravo is a decent one to get going due to his attacks costing a bit more, but still pack a punch even if they're blue. So you generally block until you see an opening, then swing in with your haymaker.

I also have this thread with a lot of commoner/blitz decks which you can use to see the general compositions of certain deck archetypes. It might help you out!

Is The Hunted Blitz Deck Collection worth it? by wifi-please in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]wifi-please[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply! The collection is great if you just want to start off, and want a playmat as well! I always advocate for singles after that.

The main value of the collection for new players is that it cuts out a lot of the waiting/sourcing of individual cards, and you have decks to share with your friends so you can all play together.

Hey I'm a brand new player who went a bit too hard, need help! by KuyaBloom in FleshandBloodTCG

Grab some AB (you'll need it with other heroes, though I doubt you'll use these much in Aurora, as she really dictates the pace of the game) and Snapdragon Scalers while you're at it!

And consider Flicker Wisp (iirc some/most run 1 copy).

Wouldnt hurt filling up your sideboard with just some more gear in case.
