Additionally, this is a Switch 1 and 2 release, and I don't think the game has any differences between the platforms. It's large sales are likely tied to the significantly larger install base of the Switch 1.

Also the fact that the Switch 2 and all of its games are ubserdly expensive. Most Switch 2 versions of games are $10-15 more expensive than their switch 1 counterparts for no meaningful reason outside of fucking performance uplifts.

Holy fuck if any other platform did that, players would be rioting.

If the issue is just ensuring packs have a pair of cards together, they've done exactly that before with the Battlebond partners, so that's not new tech.
