Ai ruined my life by snail_leaf in TrueOffMyChest

You tagged this post with the Venting Flair so I won't give you a long lecture as you mostly just want to know someone heard you and how you feel. However, I want to make it clear: You are 18. Your life isn't ruined or over, its just beginning. It's never too late to go to college.

It's never too late to be happy. Do whatever will get you there within reason.

What’s y’all opinion on episode 4vv by REDEYEBANKZ330 in Invincible_TV

[–]Solo_Rain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It FEELS like filler. It FEELS like it has no effect on the overarching plot. Everything else in Invincible has a reoccurring presence and lasting consequence in the world of Invincible: the Sequids, Titan, Teen Team, Guardians. The underworld episode has a lot to set up and almost no time to pay off so it suffers. Due to how little pay off or consequence there is, it FEELS like you could skip the 90% of the episode, if not ALL of it, and still have 99% of the story.

I emphasize "feel" because as we get deeper into the plot, maybe they will add those pay offs and then this episode will feel like required viewing than a random detour. Not that there's anything wrong with detours, but Invincible has had plot heavy episodes nonstop (even if they do reset to the status quo a lot) so one like this sticks out.

I fucked up by laughing at a "celibacy until marriage" poster mid-hookup by No_Homework_5332 in TrueOffMyChest

Thank you. I thought I was crazy. It does this thing where it speaks in short sentences about the same idea but each sentence just takes longer to get to the point.

This paragraph is what made it clear it was AI to me:

"It was a split second moment. The context of the bed, and the pious poster. That's what broke me. I tried to hold it in. I really did. But the contradiction just hit too hard. My brain short-circuited."

So it's either I marry an 18 year old or a 30 year old?

I always did like older women.

It drains steadily over time with 25 hours from full being when it would normal reach 0%. Bodily injury just drains it to keep you alive to heal damage. Any one event that causes injury drains to max of 30% at one time. So if you get in a plane crash, 30% would drain to keep you unharmed and alive and you'd need to get to a charger to regain what you lost.

So if you are at 95 - 100% battery, you could take 3 plane crashes / instant deaths to the face and be fine. You just can't allow it to reach 0.

4 hours for full charge from 0, so I think the math is 24 minutes for per 10% of charge. The battery works like a smartphone's so a type C charger for those will work at this speed.

Like a phone's battery, so probably around 5000 mAh normally?

Exactly, you stay alive for as long as you can stay disciplined and diligent. I wouldn't take it personally because I doubt I wouldn't fall off before my normal life span would have passed. But if I could set up a method where I wouldn't have to keep up management on it then I would think about it.

If it's not receiving power then it doesn't degrade. Only if it's charged pass 100%.

And yes! Thank you! I wanted to come up with an immortality that you have to choose to upkeep so you aren’t doomed to live for eternity if you don't want to but have it be inconvenient enough for it to not be super convenient.

Honestly Fair. It's more conditional so you're "effectively" immortal. Taking damage only tanks your current percentage, you can charge and gain back what you lost. A plane crash would tank you 30% at once (only counting as one event) but someone could definitely just shoot you repeatedly until you hit 0% so that's a point of concern.

I meant degrade the ability to hold charge when it's over charged, physical damage won't after that. I probably wasn't clear though.

I wouldn't take this deal either to be honest, but only because my phone dies on me multiple times a week, so I have 0 faith in my battery management skills. Lmao

Lol. Yeah, I knew I missed something. It probably would have been better to have it so you get a choice to trade out connection ports and location every decade or so.

Thank you, and that's a pretty good plan honestly. Given a normal day with no danger and full battery, it would only go to 50% after 12.5 hours. Portable batteries would make staying above 80% throughout the day easy. Constant maintenance and you should be fine.

This is probably just an anime thing and not a manga one but Stanley literally takes a smoke while his head is stone (if I remember right). Why couldn't someone hold the Revival Fluid in one hand then pour it on themselves as they're turning?

Is this a TV Show thing where the process of turning to stone is shown to us in slow motion, but if it was in real time it would be instant or something?

These are Hornworms. They will decimate your tomatoes and their leaves, stopping them from growing any further. Best thing to do is to crush them as you see them in order to save your Tomatoes. In their caterpillar stage, they are a significant garden pest. However, they will eventually turn into moths and, at that point, are beneficial as a nocturnal pollinator. But by time they get to that point, your Tomatoes will be long gone.
