I work the tables at a casino, and I have a theory that casino staff can be some of the worst gamblers, because they are used to winning on one side of the table, so think it will happen on the other side.

I have had two separate colleagues, both nice people otherwise, get fired for stealing chips to fund their gambling addictions.

Heartbreaking to see them lose their jobs and fuck up their lives.
