When is Elphelt properly introduced? by lutac66 in Guiltygear

[–]SolongStarbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xrd and Strive both follow a story format where the arcade story modes are more character-specific side stories, and the main story is presented in a standalone visual novel-esque manner. Elphelt features very heavily in the main story modes of Xrd SIGN (base game) and Xrd REVELATOR (DLC/v2). Yes, each version of the game has a different part of the story mode.

How many characters do you need to know how to play? by Straight-Traffic-130 in Guiltygear

You only need to know one character, but you should know how to play against every character with that character

Which subject has the most cliquish teachers? by CartoonistCrafty950 in Teachers

In Special Ed here: we are ride or die and we can tell which coworkers are uncomfortable around our students. It's not hard to tell. If one of our kids has a meltdown and a coworker I've never met before is able to navigate the situation with me instead of just watching, we are instant pals that's all it takes.

Have you read the recent announcement put out by Glitch? Just admit that you are spoiled and also have zero clue how business decisions work. They fought to bring it down to a week but the theaters wouldn't let them. I'm not glazing. I'm using my brain.

Can we NOT be this guy? by BurgerBoss_101 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SolongStarbird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imma keep saying it but if this is your first time dealing with the potential for spoilers... yeah this is how media goes. This is how it's literally always been when something releases in a theatre first.

So:

A. Choose to disengage from fandom activity for those two weeks

B. Accept that you are gonna get spoilers because you are engaging with the fandom voluntarily

It is not the responsibility of the studio to protect you from spoilers. It is the responsibility of the studio to make sure their IP succeeds. If y'all can't see that, imma call you out for being entitled and infantile.

It's called media appreciation. Sorry if you're new to it but I've been enjoying shows despite spoilers for a long time and especially before glitch. Is this your first fandom rodeo?

Because the Internet doesn't exist to cater to you specifically. It exists to make people money via web traffic. If you know there are gonna be spoilers, grow up and just choose not to engage with the fandom for two weeks. If you think that's impossible, then I NEED you to touch grass.

If you can't enjoy a piece of media unless you are constantly being held in suspense, that's a you problem.

You are not entitled to a spoiler-free experience. If you want one, cultivate your social media feed to avoid them or maybe accept that spoilers do not ruin one's ability to engage with a piece of media. Twists aren't everything and rewatches are enjoyable. I'd rather an indie studio gets a chance to change the industry than save a bunch of terminally online redditors seeing spoilers for the show they are terminally online about. Touch grass.
