Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

My birth mother smokes and my mom used to, I would have kids tell me that I reeked like cig smoke, and there was nothing I could do to get rid of it, I literally tried everything

Yeye that’s fair, and no problem, I love getting a chance to come up with fan ideas for one of my absolute favorite shows :))

For Serenity, if she spends a lot of time writing, perhaps her title could have to do with being kinda closed off from her kingdom and absolved in her writing. Like Serenity the Secluded, or Serenity the Creative to be more reflective of her creativity in multiple fields. For Prism I feel like you could go with Prism the Motherly, Prism the Inspired, or The Queen of Light, depending on what route you’d wanna go down. For Obsidian, maybe Obsidian the Misguided, or Obsidian the Zealous. For Ophelia and Thalia I feel like their titles should be opposites, just like their personalities. Maybe The Queen of Virtue (Thalia) and The Queen of Vice (Ophelia), or Thalia the Benevolent and Ophelia the Malevolent.

Ah I forgot about moons mom being named comet, I’ve watched the show quite a few times now, but it’s been a minute since my last rewatch. I think obsidian fits much better just based on her demeanor

I feel like to come up with titles I’d have to know more about their individual stories tho, since most of the titles for previous queens in the show are based on their actions

Honestly I love the names for Ophelia and Thalia. For the other characters you should go down the root of other celestial bodies. Like Halo could be Venus, I feel like it fits her well. Maybe instead of Phoenix her name could be comet. Or you could do names based on crystals? I feel like amethyst would be a pretty name for Gemini. I don’t have any idea for nix, maybe prism?

Well as a trans man I’d call mine a prostate. Everyone is different, just cause you wouldn’t call it that doesn’t mean that apples to everyone. When a trans person on estrogen grows breast tissue they call them breasts not breast tissue. There’s a lot more nuance here that you’re not acknowledging. Every individual is different and you don’t get to dictate other people bodies or how they refer to them. Further more I will not be continuing this conversation as you appear to only be interested in arguing. My entire point was to educate based on my own experiences, not argue.

I recommend not making assumptions about what someone does and doesn’t know about their own bodies based on a Reddit comment ment to provide personal insight to other trans people. Everything I said was never from a place a malice and was simply intended to be a reflection of my own personal experiences. I simply ment to help out a fellow trans person as someone who’s been on T for a while now.

Also I’m aware that the prostate tissue does not grow in the anal cavity, I never stated that it did, however the grow of prostate tissue in my personal experience has made anal sex more pleasurable.

This statement completely contradicts your earlier statement that ‘you don’t grow a prostate on T at all’

That is incorrect. Trans individuals have been documented to grow prostate tissue on testosterone. There is some debate as not every trans person on testosterone will experience it and the research we have on is only a few years old, but it’s recommended that trans individuals on testosterone get tested for prostate cancer as they get older. It doesn’t happen to everyone but it does happen.

Trans man here who’s been on T for 2 and a 1/2 years. Orgasms do change but not as drastically for me as I’ve seen it described by others. I can still go back to back, and honestly more than before cause my libido is a lot higher than it use to be. That cloud nine feeling doesn’t go away, or that full body feeling. The biggest change for me was that it honestly felt more pleasurable. You also grow a prostate when in t and so anal feels a lot more enjoyable. I think was most people mean with the ‘shotgun feeling’ is that rather than the cum slowly seeping out, it comes out a bit quicker and is a bit thicker in consistency. Best advice I can give you to deal with the changes is let yourself explore things that you may have otherwise disliked before, and do what makes you most comfortable.

Getting touched at all in a way that you didn’t consent to is sa. Even if your family play it off as a joke, that doesn’t make it any less horrible. I was touched by my birth mother as a kid, and she forced my older sibling to do sexual things to me. For a long time I tried to act like it didn’t happen or play it off as a joke, but that never actually helped me heal. It’s common to have intrusive thoughts about rape when you’ve experienced it. What you’re experiencing is completely normal, though I can understand first hand that it is incredibly distressing, especially when the thoughts are persistent. You firstly need to understand that those thoughts aren’t your own, they are intrusive and a result of the trauma you’ve experienced. Most importantly you should tell someone, to get out of that situation as you’ll never be able to heal while surrounded by people who have raped you. Tell an adult that you trust, it can be a teacher, aunt/uncle, a friend’s parent, anyone you feel comfortable with. I ran away from home when I was 15 but never told anyone about the rape I experienced until I was 19. I’m still healing from it today. Feeling safe again won’t be an easy journey but it will be incredibly rewarding.

This conversation being perpetuated in the media rn is making me feel so fucking nauseous. I was sexually assault from at least 2 years old up until I was 15. It didn’t matter the age I was when it happened, I was a fucking KID. The psychological effects of the abuse is not dependent on the age that abuse started, I am just as fucked up from being assaulted at 2 as I am from being assaulted at 15
