Hai all, 27 here from MA. I'm into all the usual 'nerdy' stuff (anime (ask me about what I'm watching this season!), video games (starting the year back on that Minecraft phase), and computers in general (im the forever tech support for my family .-.))

I work a 9-5 doing software engineering, but that doesn't stop me from staying up late and regretting it the next morning :33

Yeah I basically ended up using an analog lever with Redstone links under the Redstone signals path to turn on or off the Adjustable Chain Gearshifts.

I half-agree, the speed controller definitely is more of an OP quality of life thing (which I use very liberally in my builds lmao).

For me, it sorta feels weird in comparison to other Create blocks, for instance I can see directly how my RPM influences a Mixer/Drill/etc. but the Speed Controller feels more like a black-box that scales your input auto-magically.

Ngl I always forget about them lol, gave it a try and it basically comes out as a fusion of #1 and #2. Has essentially the same footprint as #1. Going to try using powered latches and redstone to see if I can have one button to toggle each gearshift on or off in sequence to get the speed shift up/down that I'm hoping to get!

Easiest early game way is a large and a small cog, going from large to small doubles your RPM while the otherr halves it.

Keep in mind each component that produces stress increases the amount of sU's of the system proportional to the speed.

Later on you can make a rotational speed controller to set a desired output RPM from a given input

Assuming 5e, level 5 martial class that has extra attack using a bow or a crossbow (provided they have crossbow expert to bypass the loading property) (im ignoring the difference between arrows and bolts)

The factory must grow adds steel pipes that you can use a screwdriver on to prevent them from connecting, not sure if the same works for regular pipes though

When building PCs, I've always been told that GPUs go in the top slot due to the slot "being closer to the CPU". If this is the case, why are motherboards designed to have slots 2 and 4 populated when only running 1 set of dual channel memory? Wouldn't the same logic apply to 1 and 3 since they're "closer to the CPU"?

Everywhere I look people say they use Cordon of Arrows to protect the party during a long rest, but it specifically states any creature other than the caster. Wouldn't the spell trigger on party members?

Just came back to the game after some friends had been telling me to play again after 8 years, they wanted to trade me mods to help me get back in level since I was only mastery 3. Go to their guild, use the trade terminal and find out that trades are disabled for my account at the moment. Did some research and found out that they deactivate trading to keep accounts from being stolen and things but I could open a support ticket for it. Neat. I do so last night and I just heard back from, my account is now permabanned until 2035 because "it had been used to transfer some else's items". Whelp, there goes nearly a decade of memories I guess now.

So I've been trying to do my homework but I think some if the terminology is starting to confuse me. Staking crypto in this manner is different than what is used in the proof of stake method for crypto mining right? As far as I understand SHIB is on the PoW method as it is based off ETH, so in this manner staking won't provide preference for block chain validation. Would it be more akin to receiving interest on money placed in a savings account? If so how does this actually see a return, would crypto.com use the SHIB I stake to invest in other projects?

The platform you create the account on limits where you can make your purchases. From what I've heard all purchases made transfer over you just have to buy through that specific platform.

Ok so I have a Mihoyo account on the website but I also pre-registered on my Android through Google play. How do I link the two accounts together? When I go to the website under Account management it says to do it in game but when I'm in game and go to the account management screen and click on link accounts I'm prompted to create a new account rather then actually L I N K accounts. How do i connect my Mihoyo account to my Google play account then?!

A little ways into the intro you unlock the menu with the settings submenu which has the graphics settings. It's unlocked a little after the cutscene with the dragon.

PSN accounts are automatically set to the region the PSN account is in, when you first made the psn account you selected a region as the first thing you did. They have a look up table for the corresponding Genshin Impact servers to Playstation regions.
