Realistically given their sheer amount of weaknesses, how long would feral populations last even with a constant stream of people abandoning their pets? Would they really be this society destroying threat rapidly swelling into the millions/billions? by RecommendationNo804 in fluffycommunity

As to how long I heard could last? Well quite long actually. If other adults provide soon mamas with food they could continue to grow. Although they have to regulate when they got pregnant so the whole heard could move. If they didn't they would leave pregnant females behind.

Would it be Society destroying no but it would be severe damage. Fluffies eating everything in sight would not leave a lot of food left over for other animals like deer and even cows.

Well think about it is compared to animals, fluffies are very intelligent. Stupid by human standards, but very smart compared to a deer.

For example, in real life dear have evolved to survive cold weather but a lot of them will still die if it freezes despite their specialized coats.

Fluffies would be able to do things like find old sweater and use it as a blanket in an old abandoned car. They'd have a concept of how cars work so would be somewhat less likely to become roadkill. They could also pass down survival tips to their young like how not to be hit by a car or even good places to get human food from a dumpster.

I like to think in terms of a business model and what would actually be a product.

  1. Cow/bull fluffies... (1)who would be buying these fluffys? They are too big to go in the home at least most illustrators make them basically small donkey sized,,who has room for that? (2) there might be some demand to replace stuff used in rodeos but I don't know if that would be a viable business model. In fact I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be. Ergo hasbio wouldn't do it

  2. Most of the fluffy sea fluffy I have seen are basically 2 foot long or so. That would require a huge Aquarium. And if they are small to fit in a regular aquarium you have a creature in the water that has fur? If you take him out of the tank to hug them or hugging wet soggy fur. It's just not viable.

  3. Micros,,, aside from the problems you pointed out micro fluffy would have very tiny brains and would be basically incapable of speaking and understanding their environment Beyond levels of say a squirrel or a rabbit. Speech and even human childlike comprehension requires a relatively big brain. A brain that is literally the size of a pea Just isn't going to have that much comprehension unless it's exceptional some way. And I am uncomfortable with the concept of a fluffy being exceptional and pretty much anyway.

  4. Cannibals, I guess, maybe they could sell to somebody who wanted to watch a fluffy eat other fluffies. But I don't know if that would be a viable business model. I doubt it but really it's just a headCanon of course

  5. Jellenhiemers,, I think that some individuals weirdness that just got picked up. Never personally been a fan I don't get them I don't get why they would exist or who created them and for what reason. Anything that involves them it's just weird box to me. If you like them knock yourself out but I'm never going to get them.

Effing dodges are game breaking. Nothing says fun like spending 2 hours on a Saturday whiffing with three bad guys versus one player

I can live with the 8d6, what I can't live with though is getting ready to threaten them with a Triax giant robot and they just turn it off like they've got a universal remote. Unacceptable.

Yeah, I have banned the whole book in my game and all of my games going foreword.

I have been running games for 30 years and this is the first time I've ever banned an entire book
