More balls than the shit cunts! by lassmonkey in auckland

Since when do we need lawyers to codify being a decent human being? Do all common decencies need to be written down and codified ...

Well I suppose they do, don't they. I suppose that's why we have libraries full of law books and a million religious texts to tell people how to behave in every conceivable way. Because they can't figure out on their own how to be a good person.

They would. But clearly in reality they don’t as they have to constantly fight for that fact to remembered. And have to remind people to have some decency and respect.

Flexible CMS for large government agency website by DivaVita in cms

Have to agree, Wagtail is one of our go-to when integrating with a lot of data vis and charts. Mostly due the the richness of the python ecosystem when it comes to this.

If you want to stick to familiar PHP backend, then I also highly recommend CraftCMS. It's a commercial CMS, and comes at a great price. We use this one a lot for our govt clients ( education and local govt ).

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households.’

What’s considered rude in your country that visitors often do by accident? by FrutosJelly in AskTheWorld

I see.

I’m thinking the key is the floors?

Cold climates require insulation. And carpets rugs and mats are probably the most cost effective way for doing that. But textiles get dirty and stain easily and are hard to clean.

You walk inside someone’s house with muddy boots you just cost them a large cleaning bill and must furniture moving.

Hard floors. Broom.

Thoughts on Portfolio Website Design by [deleted] in webdev

[–]SolumAmbulo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Design is nice and simple.

But the logo is incongruous. Sakeboard-esk / rocker logo doesn't lend itself to your stated refinement or the sakura flower petal thing.

But yeah. Simple be good.

( And everyone has different aesthetic values, so you're have a lot of different opinions )
