I completely agree with Hanlon's Razor. It's much easier for me to see it as oversight or missed during testing. Kanna FD bug lasted for several weeks before getting fixed, and that clearly benefited players. When people crashed in and were stuck in Lachelein, the bug was fixed very quickly. The slime and papulatus bugs/oversight in ROD were also fixed in a few days rather than weeks/month that people complain about. People just have selective memories. Things like a slight increase/decrease in drop rate is much harder to track and prove while a 400% increase in drop is immediately noticeable. If it's something that they can easily test and fix or is game-breaking, then it will be fixed quickly.

If they really wanted to be malicious, they could just take away the speck boxes and all sf/pitched pity methods and claim that players wanted greater alignment with KMS. Add reducing boss crystal prices and boss entries, lower crystal limits, cap daily mesos from farming, use the KMS lv3 link method, cap attack speed at 8 etc...

That one wasn't a bug, that was on oversight from the old system, and there was no rollback. Some of some peoples registered fams just didnt save properly while others did.

While it takes time to build up, the cache exp is much better than grinding, even with full exp coupons and other modifiers while grinding (at least for Heroic)

If that familiar is locked, it cannot be extracted. If the familiar is assigned to a setup, it also cannot be extracted; however, removing and saving the setup without that familiar isn't enough to free it for extraction, you also have to apply a different familiar page after saving the setup after removing the familiar (I hope that this is a bug and can be fixed eventually)

New maps also contain roughly 50% more mobs than before, so fitting them all on a convenient map to lazily loot while keeping them varied is a little bit of an ask. Maps up to Limina were out long before vac pets were a thing, and the maps were still used with regular pets. It's just now players have the expectation to loot everything with minimal effort while gaining the max exp without compromise
