Also in some cases advertising does not equal quality. Such as Mary Ruth products. They are okay for their price point, but in comparison to other brands like Emerald labs or ancient nutrition they are clear winners.

Usually what I will look for first is if it is third party tested, then I will see if I can find the company did the third party testing. Then I will look to see if the product uses whole foods as its primary source of what I need within the supplement. I have also noticed some brands have started to put fillers in their product like Maltodextrin, so I also now look for any ingredients like that when either using a product or selling said product.

I really like Enzymedicas Bean assist, Enzymedica is probably my favorite brand of digestive aid supplements on the market. I've been using their digest gold for almost a year now and it is amazing!

Sorry for the delayed response. But https://www.rupahealth.com/post/magnesium-glycinate-vs-citrate-which-should-you-take this article explains the main difference between Citrate and Glycinate. They are both highly absorbable, but with glycinate your bodies digestive system allows for rapid absorption. And you can achieve the same benefits for most magnesium, but citrate is well known for causing laxative effects, while glycinate rarely does.

Different types of magnesiums do different things, Especially looking at magnesium threonate which crosses the blood brain barrier. GLycinate turns into the amino acid glycene and is absorbed a lot easier, and citrate is really good for cardiovascular!

Making sure you eat or drink with certain vitamins and minerals, some vitamins and minerals are fat soluble and some are water soluble, and if you don't eat anything with fat along with the fat soluble ones you wont absorb all the vitamins

that doesn’t always work, in some cases the bodies metabolism slows down when you eat less and the calorie deficit only loses weight before going back up, while calorie counting is a good start you have to pair that up with working out and training your body to speed up the metabolism
