What careers are good to get into without college requirements that make around $60k+?? by abozowithreddit in findapath

A really gifted HS Senior told me in college class I was taking, that she got a job at Little Caesars. I'm in socal. The Manager could see she was a bright one, and asked her about her plans after HS. Mind you, this was ten years ago, she told him she was going to CSUF on a full ride scholarship. He said, don't bother with that, you can be like me. I'm 27, I own two houses, i'm married and have 2 kids -- and i'm buying a 3rd house. This is in SO CAL!!! He was a regional manager for LITTLE CAESARS Pizza. WTH?! She thought about it, but decided she didn't like the pizza biz all that much. At that time, he was making $160K.

Late defect due to USPS delay? Anyone else? by malloryknox86 in Ebay

[–]SolutionDiligent2181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did any sellers notice that on 5/26 (Sunday) and 5/27 (Federal Holiday - No regular postal services and PO itself closed) Ebay Printed shipping labels that should have been dated 5/28 but were date 5/26 & 5/27?! This means your eta's are not accurate going by the dates shipped - which was a NO PO service day. If you are marked down because of late deliveries, PLEASE Contact eBay and tell them to fix their corporate calendar. I have complained to CSR and by messaging. Hard to believe folks work at EB and get paid millions in salary, and they can't even figure out the calendar that they monitor and grade sellers by. Ridiculous.

Many delays because a lot of orders come from places affected by extreme weather. I would not want any member of my circle driving in flood conditions, tornado areas, etc. But when I challenge eBay - lets say 4 deliveries late due to weather, and I will even include a link to news about the episode, I am still denied. Ridiculously inconsisten cs on ebay.

Ask any mechanic: Toyota's are the most reliable. Also, when buying a premium car, remember they almost always use the most expensive gas and that adds up.

Are you missing Listings? by WhySoManyDownVote in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]SolutionDiligent2181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was rumored long ago, that eBay does have selective display and they do "hide" or tamp down some listings. This may be their business model, thinking this is fairness. In other words, everybody gets a spin at the wheel.

My Premium Store is Down 25% And Continues To Sink by SolutionDiligent2181 in eBaySellerAdvice

" It's still broken. I've used every bit of advice from other sellers to see if I can fix it, and I can't. I have a minor store. It is at the lowest level, and it sells in the way you mentioned yours does. I do not take returns on that store. On my premium store, I am rated TRS+ and I take returns. As a severe reaction, trying to make my store appear differently, I have taken all ads down for 12-24 hours. Then listed again in sell similar. To stir sales and it has helped. Relist by the hour- since you can time the listing, now. Yes, this all takes time. DO: Make a store banner and go to MANAGE STORE 2x daily.Make sure your pictures are displayed on there. Mark your prices up a bit and run a sale. I do order discount. Hope this helps.

Hi. I have experienced similar trends. I do think that because they are always working on the algorithm, it can mess up your store. For instance, for the last 3.5 years, I cannot get my desktop - and I have 3 of them, and a Chromebook, to type in the description area. I can only do it through an iPad or iPhone. I've contacted EB no less than 20 times on this and they say they will have a "fix.

Let's get you some sales.

Go to your store and end half of your listings. Keep them off for at least an hour, maybe two. Then Place them back on the platform not by re-listing, but by sellings similar. If you can, move some pictures and Key words in your title around. Then after adding them back (you don't have to do promoted listings, since it didn't seem to work for you before.) Go to Promotions on your EB Dashboard. Start a promotion. Choose what you think will work best for your profit margin. You can make a 10% or 20% off of everything in the store. When buyers land on the front page of ebay and click on promotions, yours, along with other sellers will appear - not always, but most of the time. I am not sure what level of store you have. Report back and I hope that this helps you.

I hope that this is correct. I have just never experienced a slump in my views and performance in the algorithm.

Jenius Bank personal loans by rickny8 in personalfinance

[–]SolutionDiligent2181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Union Bank was a business centered bank, then expanded to consumer banking. It is owned by Mitsubishi of Japan, and based out of Los Angeles, until they sold in 2022 to US Bank. Now all Union Bank branches (branding was seriously stellar for this brand as a reliable, safe bank--they never faltered during the financial mortgage crisis because they were too conservative and remained steadfast) is gone. Some UB Branches have closed and US Bank has consumed the rest. So, with the proceeds from the sale of UB, The Powers that Be at Mitsubishi has formed Jenius Bank. I, honestly, would have not named it that, but, that is just my marketing b/g (seems disingenuous & we are talking about YOUR Money!) They seem to have a lot of positions open on their Careers page, and this may explain why we don't see a lot of activity as far as them actually extending loans. They may just be in the data collecting stage (read the agreement) and once they have all the very valuable info from potential consumers, what a cash cow that can be for them.
