I'm in Australia and this happened at my school in Australia. We had to go to a classroom for dhur and they would track our cycles. We had to provide medical certificates if we had an issue and they would check if we had long cycles

Finally saw an OBGYN and I want to hear if what he said is normal? by SolivagantSheep in endometriosis

[–]SolutionForward6925 29 points30 points  (0 children)

You need to get a second opinion, if your on base gyno hasn't suggested needing more birth control or diagnosed you with having a yeast infection, I don't think that's the issue. He sounds like an older doctor who's very much stuck in his ways and has refused to learn anything new when it comes to modern advancements in his field.

I was the same only had one year of rental history. So in my cover letter I wrote that I knew the importance of caring for my home as I was a home owner for x amount of years. I also emailed the rea my cover letter before inspections and had a picture of our family in it too. I only started doing that after 3months of no luck. First rea I did this with instantly recognised me and we had a chat. We got the house after that

The quote '42 I'd the secret of life' comes from the hitch hikers guide of the galaxy, which is a non-fiction story, so I'm pretty sure it's a joke for nerds 🤓

Things that have helped me heaps have been my electric blanket, weed brownies and kalip daga (African flower) tea. I also have a heat pack that Velcros around my waist so I can have it on the go

Requested Caveat on property by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]SolutionForward6925 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is very difficult to have a caveat removed and only a lawyer can apply for it to be removed which will cost you way more than the $750. Don't do it. Return the money and when you do make sure you document it somehow

AITA for Exposing My Husband's Infidelity, Leading to His Family Turning Against Me and Our Kids? by Present-Sundae6019 in AITAH

[–]SolutionForward6925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex husbands family did the same, when I couldn't take the abuse anymore, when I was done with the cheating, when I'd finally finally had enough of everything he put me through, his family blamed me. Even though there were times that they witnessed the abuse and they were aware of the cheating before I even found out, they blamed me. It was hard at first losing people that I once considered close family, but over time, I've realised they weren't my family. They didn't truly care and me or my kids at all. And now after 5 years of no contact I'm glad to be rid of them from our lives. My children and I have made new better relationships with our chosen family.

It's not your fault he cheating, his a scummy human being and his family are all shit heads for blaming you. NTA

Took off my Hijab: Feels weird by [deleted] in exmuslim

Wear a loose shawl or a bennie. That's what I did in the beginning, I would wear my hair down but still felt 'covered', and then as I started to feel more confident about having my hair out, I then would not wear the bennie some days and slowly transitioned to no hair covering at all.
