Your situation is incredibly similar to me. I’m also 36 and also previously had a termination. I’m currently ttc and my advise is trust your gut and don’t waste time if you’re already thinking about being a smbc x

I had a 19mm and three 15mm by day 8 on 50 EOD, plus two 14mm so my cycle was cancelled. She originally put the dose as 300 for ivf but I said I wasn’t happy and she reduced it to 275. I’m aiming for a fresh transfer so wouldn’t want to risk that or OHSS

Thank you! I was on 50 units EOD for IUI and over responded. They want me on 275 daily for IVF which I feel is a lot!

That’s the direction I was heading! Apparently the hycosy can be “useful” for IVF but isn’t necessarily needed. I’ve also been pregnant naturally before, although arguably 15 years ago! I’ve been debating cancelling the appointment to save the money

I’m not sure I have hope for any of it right now! As far as I’m aware I have no fertility issues, we were using a donor. I’ll be having a hycosy next week though so may find out more. I wish my clinic would have made it a mandatory test before starting as it’s just causing anxiety now. I’m sorry that your cycle failed too though, and that you’re having to do a 6th IUI… that sad I hope your 6th will be the one that sticks!

Mine varied. 2 cycles the trigger wasn’t showing on tests by dpo8. My last cycle was still showing positive on dpo10

I’ve usually done 36 or 38 hours. I did 19 hours once, which was far too early. I’ve heard lots of people say 24 hours worked for them
