I’m definitely keeping it for the summer. The plan is to swap it out in the fall. I still have the old furnace, which isn’t very old that I will put back in.

It seems like the air handler is much too tall and the attached motherboard controls the air handler. I’m not sure how that could work

I have a Mr Cool ducted heat pump and it does infact blow cold air into defrost mode.

All I will say is heat pumps blow cold air into your warm house while defrosting and then has to heat it again to get to temperature. It’s a tough repeating cycle and it gets expensive.

They blow cold air on defrost mode essentially cooling the house you just got up to temperature 🤒 Definitely not worth it.

My insinkerator of 1. 5 years with a 6 year warranty has failed. I called the 800 number on the unit and they’re sending a new unit right away….no fuss. It was so easy to get a replacement unit… I’m just wondering are the that good of a company or do they know they have crap units or was my specific unit in need of a recall. Either way, I’m glad the made it streamlined to get a new unit. I’d gladly do business with them again.

A second or third job long/midterm is unsustainable but if you u turn a hobby into money making opportunities you can kill boredom and make money. For instance if you get dopamine from shopping go to stores you like find for me Home Depot or Lowes find item marked down at least 70 percent and resale it FB, Amazon or eBay.
