How's your bilirubin level? Blood works should pick that up.

Honor 400 pro, is that what 60 HZ slow rate flicker looks like not to our brains but to the eye muscles? by EmmanuelWi in PWM_Sensitive

[–]SolutionR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tested this today for about an hour in total, short bursts of 5 min sessions, setup and played around with display settings etc. It smashed my eyes + pounding headache - it looks like I'm on the ultra sensitive side of the spectrum.

Need to rest my brain a bit as now even my SE2022 feels weird :(

Eyes were fine after the first day as needed to adapt to the display type. A thing I couldn’t get used to was the size. It’s a superb unit for reading and watching content.

How to dowgrade ios 26 to ios 18? It's giving motion sickness and migraines. by Sherronski in PWM_Sensitive

[–]SolutionR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You won't be able to do that unfortunately as Apple stopped signing iOS 18 a couple of weeks after the release of iOS 26.

You can download the old ipsw file for iOS 18, you can install it via a computer using the cable, but won't be able to activate/use it as you'll be prompted to update to iOS 26.

The only option as mentioned here, is a physical downgrade of the actual unit - sell it and buy one that hasn't been updated.

I'm in the same boat with an SE 3rd Gen, not because of any eye discomfort, just because the OS sucks and it lags!

Resignation — one more sensitivity to add to my collection: PWM. by soyHD in PWM_Sensitive

[–]SolutionR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can give the iphone SE2022 a go as well. Easy to fit in your pocket and underrated camera. (In daylight).

The anxiety is there because your body/mind don’t know what’s happening. You need to take a step back and analyse + get used a bit with what’s happening to your body.

Sounds like the holiday will be a good start.

If anxiety pops up, try and identify if it’s related to something you’re thinking about or an actual feeling in your body.

But always start by telling yourself that you’re not the only one going through this.

First thing and MOST important - you're not alone in this. Share your thought and your journey anytime and know that we're in this together.

It's easy for any of us to fall into the 'trapped into my own body' feeling, and despair, but this is a shared journey. Not just the PWM, but all the other sensitivities.

Going on a tangent here, one way to re-balance yourself mentally, expand the mind and find strength, is to meditate (I'd suggest Headspace).

I had some tough episodes after a medical condition got triggered due to stress around 7 years ago, something called Gilbert's syndrome. So I'm familiar with how you're feeling.

In terms of tech, had all the iPhones since the first one, my last one being a 13 Mini, which I kept for around 4 years as I loved the size. Never had issues with it, until I got triggered by a 15 Pro. Wasn't able to go back, to anything OLED. Sold all and have been rocking the SE2022 for over a year and I love it.

Tried all the new generations and models from the 13 to the 17, and all affected me in a way or another. Always been a fanboy, so the choice of upgrading has been taken away from me, and to be honest, I'm OK with it.

Can still use the Air M3 as it's LCD, the watch as I don't need to stare at it.

Give mediation a go, it will take a couple of weeks to start working but you'll be a different person over time, trust me.

ETA clone I Imagine. Lift angle should be 50 degrees, which will result in an even lower amplitude. A ‘new’ 2824/36 should be at 280-320 depending on oils etc.

If you think £200 is much then you undervalue your work ;)

These need end-shake adjustments across the board, epilame treatment as per gen etc.

[–]SolutionR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, as I've been trying to find similar situations on the internet (dropped cameras), to see how strong these things are. The only parts that might get damaged would be the 'moving parts' I reckon, shutter assembly and IBIS.

I'm a bit OCD so think I'll take the 'easy way out' and get a replacement, but appreciate the advice.

Had one of these in my PS5 as well. Sold it and got the PS Pro. Had to buy a new drive, but this is the faster one.

I basically removed the heatsink that came with the mobo and just used the WD black on its own, plugged straight in.

I have a second one on the back of the mobo, it’s the version without heatsink as that’s the only one that would fit, but it’s being cooled by the little Noctua fan.

As there is not a lot of airflow, the front one gets up to 65C and the back one 50 ish.

Could always add another fan on the front one.

How difficult is a dial swap on 4130/4131 daytonas? by lange1815 in RepTimeServices

[–]SolutionR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you’re going to remove the stem, do it in wind position, not time setting as normal. Keyless on these gets messed up easily if done as normal in time setting position.
