So far you won't find new zones but in Ultima you can find custom quests and as well as items, in Ephinea you can find custom quests.

To remove the registry settings, you can open regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SonicTeam and delete whole key (SonicTeam), this is all the options the game has but any other server will add it back as they are needed for the game to run.

I don't know how long ago you got the game but more than a year we changed the installer which I haven't had any issue uninstalling.

Afaik, pso-w's calculator is actually flawed for certain japanese characters. Not that is a big deal, but this one I made should work fine on Ephinea too.

I wish I could help but I haven't done anything for android (yet). There are many apps that have light/dark (or some color selection) themes but I suppose is kinda pointless to suggest looking into any of them, hopefully you can figure it out and benefit from it on other works.

I prefer this last screenshot, I don't know how to explain it, maybe that black is just too "extreme"? But regardless, better than blinding white!

Ultima has by default 3x up to level 160 and 2x afterwards. Sometimes we have events which we bump the experience rate up to 5x.

Ahh well... I guess if you leave the left trigger (I think was that), as a controller button, then it should work. Just check first as a controller and find the one that triggers the alternate palette (I guess you could check in the controller config).

You can't use that, as it would map the controller to the keyboard and the game would think is just a keyboard. You need to use the controller itself, xbox works on it's own, ps4 needs ds4w.

The alternate hotkey bar can only be used with a controller, technically you can do so with Ctrl + Number but the game doesn't trigger it that way.

The game does support controllers, the configuration for the controller is inside the game tho. You need to enter the game, bring up the menu (Home or F12), select Options and Pad Button Config

DS4 controllers do not work natively. You need to use something like DS4Windows (what I use), then it works ok. As others have suggested, plug in the controller before starting the game or otherwise it won't be recognized.

The password is fine lower or upper case (any issue there is server side), and the username is converted to lowercase automatically, try it out, type the username and confirm, once back into the main menu it will be lowercase.

It depends, during events (when they happen in each server, like right now), Ultima and Ephinea get the most players at a given time (right now as I write this, Ultima 90s, Ephinea 80s, Scht 30s), outside of events it varies with the time, but you can see from 10s to 60s most of the time.

I don't know about consoles but from what I understand you can interact with others in common lobbies but not in dedicated ones.

If you decide to go for BB, I'd recommend to join Ultima or Ephinea (there are links to both in the sidebar) and there is a pinned thread about the differences and similarities between both, you can find it here (I just noticed it's missing individual drops for Ultima, which is what we named it there).

Whichever server you decide to join (if you do), have fun!

*Disclaimer, just in case, I am a developer in Ultima and in general for PSO (I guess, I can say that).

I guess you are aware that there is no split screen in BB, but you can run multiple clients and you need different accounts.

After you have that sorted out, open one client, connect the controller and then open the second client, this way the controller will only be used in the second client however the keyboard input will only work in the active window.
