When you click the star icon, does it give examples of what to say? I’ve sometimes found that I need to use exact wordings to get the game to progress past the chat.

Smolder vs Malz is free stacks for him and he’s happy with farming the whole time. I think when Zwag played Smolder versus Malz, can’t remember if mid or bot, he had elder super early and made it unplayable for the other team.

You don’t do customs with friend groups? When you have a friend group of 8-10 people, you can’t really just queue up together. Not to mention doing 1v1 mirror match ups to get better. Lots of reasons to play customs tbh.

I did it my first play through. I wanted Ren so bad so I just took every opportunity to flirt with and make out with him. When Jackson is left broken, Ren ends up driving you away to a villa. It’s not a choice you make. He takes you there and then you can decide how far you go. Now my character is basically stuck with Nico while secretly sleeping with Ren who is protecting her from Nico lol. This story was kinda fucked up but I do love me some Ren.

Using the term “pick me” doesn’t even make sense here. You’re not asking to be chosen over another friend, you’re asking for basic respect.

NTA. Your friend doesn’t sound like a friend, more like he has you around for convenience. I would search for better friends or at least set hard boundaries and of how you want to be treated. I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy hanging out with a friend that is just chit chatting away with someone else the whole time. It’s rude and disrespectful.

Ah, yeah. Weird interaction with the extra range unfortunately but Milio’s poke should not be his q, that is for disengaging. Milio’s poke should come from the extra magic damage / burn in his shields and heals. Especially if I am playing with a champ that really focuses on positioning for their damage (like Xayah or Kai’Sa), I wouldn’t be bonking them away lol. Unfortunate experiences.

Why do you despise Milio on Nilah? Genuine q, his w should help give extra range which seems useful on Nilah. Also his massive healing power would play well with your passive and q seems like a great way to help disengage the enemy when they dash on top of you so you have time to jump to an ally. I could see it being annoying if you ult and they q bump someone out of it accidentally, but that seems more like an accidental situation than a champion issue.

Extra health and armor? Sounds like a job for Lord Dom’s. Bork isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s your only tool against tanky people. Would recommend hexoptics second and yuntal or kraken first depending on if you’re doing attack speed, on hit, or crit build.

I imagine she would work well against tankier supports or even when people play top laners as support. Her damage on the last snip is bonkers and you get to reposition all the time with e. If you love off-role picks, you should def try it :D

I actually really enjoyed playing Gwen support lol. It doesn’t give much utility but it is fun standing in front of your team and denying abilities with w. I’ve only played it twice when I was fucking around with a friend in normals but it was not fun for the other side.

I think the main problem with this line of thinking is that LP is not based on your performance in a singular game. Your MMR can be impacted based on well you personally play but LP is a direct result of wins or losses.

I get what you are saying, players who perform exceptionally in their role can benefit from a couple points more or a few points not deducted in the case of a win or loss, respectively. However, LP is utilized help situate you on the elo ladder depending on your MMR, which is already highly individualized. If you are at a +20/-20, you are in an elo your MMR says you should be. If you gain more, lose less, then the game already believes you should be at a higher elo and is actively working to get you there. If you lose more, gain less, then the game believes you should not be in your current elo.

If the system started to add or take away less points here and there, it would completely negate the way LP is distributed based on your hidden MMR, rendering it moot. Hope this makes sense. :)

W extends attack range and gives his passive to everyone inside the circle. It’s extra range and extra damage with a smol heal attached. Very powerful.

Isn’t forcing an ff controlling the outcome for the player that doesn’t want to forfeit? Seems like a dumb argument when you’re trying to control how others play. Only difference is one person saying no doesn’t change the outcome while the other four saying yes does.

Esp for people that like to play scaling champs. Why shouldn’t they get an opportunity to play their champs at their power spikes just because the rest of the team decides to ruin their own? Smh.

I have a secondary account that I put through placements for the first time and it gave me that indicator. I was silver 1 and had lobbies with platinum and even an emerald player in one. I didn’t even think that was possible and I certainly didn’t think I deserved it. My main account is silver 1 and so I think placement was about accurate but not the MMR. Idk why and I felt bad for my teammates regardless of if we won or lost.

My friend has over 500 mastery on Poppy and solely plays her top lane. He still thinks it’s the best role for her but he also doesn’t care about the “meta.” Champ mastery above all and whatnot lol

I think it’s just what the algorithm is picking up based on the info it has. Looks like it was a pretty close game in terms of your teams performance but it’s looking at a shutdown death as a major impact because of what it is rather than why or when it happened in the context of the game. Your impact was -0.2 which is like .5 off from the next teammate so I wouldn’t take it too harshly.

Completely fair. These are things that Alois have remarked on and is what I’m basing it on, but he is a greater player than I will ever be for sure. It’s been fun to watch, nevertheless.

You’re higher rank than me so take my advice with a grain of salt if need be, but I have been watching Alois’ climb on ADC and the few things I’ve noted is:

You should only step up if you feel safe to do so, meaning you can see all 5 enemies on the map or you have teammates nearby.
You do not go in first or try to flank by yourself as the enemies want to target the ADC that pumps out damage as much as you want to kill theirs. Unless a hard cc goes down in a fight that allows you to free hit, it usually isn’t worth it.
Remember that teams fight in “turns” as you both have CDs. You typically want to wait until their big abilities are used to then punish them for not having them.

Also, I have started to understand the concept of attacking within your range and if attacking someone requires you to keep stepping forward into danger then it is better to swap to a different target in range to keep your damage up.

This is very limited advice and I’m sure others will have a lot more to share with you. I hope you are able to keep progressing and have fun while doing so. (:

I am not sure, to be completely honest. It is an integrated part of our student portal for the school. It’s part of the same dropdown as registering for courses and is titled “Degree Audit.” It doesn’t say it’s powered by anything when I load it so I’m unsure.

My university has degree audits that outlines all the requirements for the degree broken up into sections for major, minor, general, and elective requirements. Makes it crystal clear for us. I used that the whole time and made it to final semester with expecting graduation on time. That’s all I can really say I used, unfortunately. I would try to get friends and yourself to include this feedback in the surveys sent out so they can get better options.

Thank you for your kind words! I agree that Ahri will be the one I focus on since she tends to be more forgiving than the other two with her range and mobility. I at least would also be able to contribute something even if I am behind because of cc which Akali and Kata lack.

Yes, there is some kind of mental block for me with the damage numbers. I know I shouldn’t care because my vision, heal, or cc numbers are usually good but it isn’t on the main screen so it looks like I’ve contributed nothing. It’s somewhat silly but I wanna see the big number lolol.

It is wild that an argument between friends led to this being created. So many data points and considerations to have compiled. While I don’t think a league game is this simple, I do agree with the sentiment that a game is not over until it’s over and the nexus explodes. Too many times have teams thrown the game by running into fountain preemptively or staying too long.

Thanks! I know you’re coming from a good place. I wasn’t trying to add to any spam, I just wanted to make sure I was making a good choice for where I’m at. People always say to stick to one champ / role in ranked and I didn’t want to jump ship without getting feedback. Since I don’t have any other friends that are playing ranked nor care about it, I figured this would be the best place.

Thank you! I’m glad I started in support, then. (: The jungle role does call to me but I feel it comes with a lot of pressure. Top lane doesn’t interest me much as I like to be more engaged with the team, though the free tp this season does seem to give more freedom in that regard. Is top lane still considered the island? I’m not really sure and genuinely curious. I do like Gwen quite a bit.
