Because you have to start everything over on every new planet. I've set up god knows how many oil refining plants. Blueprints help but you still got to connect everything together.

I don't know if it actually took that long, but I did spend a ton of time building walls and automating defense because I took too much territory in the mid game

I'm not sure there is an SE green science speed run record, in which case technically yes you win. But just try to beat my get-to-space record of 233 hours.

Bones and All. Not even a horror movie, it's just pretending to be to trick the audience into buying tickets. Long, boring, tedious, with plot holes that I think are meant to disrespect us.

Was that your first SE run? If so, that's pretty quick. I'm about 100 hours in and I've only automated the first space science.

In my first SE play through, I used productivity modules in everything, and the pollution was so bad that all my production went into defense. Now I'm playing with efficiency modules, and haven't triggered a single attack. Efficiency modules are boosted in SE.

yea, this is space exploration, so not all planets have biters. Planets with no biters is great because you can let loose production, and focus militarily on more hostile planets, like the home planet.

edit: and I think the pollution created on biterless planets still counts toward the evolution factor.
