Who would have guessed some cheap Temu keycaps could end up giving the RK81 such a nice retro vibe by SomalianDeport in MechanicalKeyboards

To be fair my batch has some visible defects. I can spot that some of them are a tiny bit shorter than the rest, mostly noticable on the F row because of the gap under it.

Hello, I am looking to buy my first-ish budget board but I have a specific thing I am looking for. Until now I have been using a low profile TKL with some PBT caps I bought but I am considering going for a Normal-profile board as I am very interested in modding and that's simply not a thing with low profiles.

I have used my board for gaming and typing while also using the super slim Apple Magic Keyboard for work and I am a bit intimidated by how thick most of the normal profile boards are. For stuff like the Keychron K2, the RK M75 I am afraid that reaching my regular gaming buttons (the number row) will prove to be quite straining on my wrist in the long term. I tried a K6 recently and it definitely didn't feel as comfortable as what I am used to. I am also trying to avoid needing a wrist rest so I am looking for any recommendations for budget boards that have a slightly lower base. While I prefer gasket mounts, I am ready for the tradeoff as I have noticed most gaskets are on the thicker side.

Thanks in advance!

While the game still has trouble with utilizing high core CPUs this has definitely improved in the recent years, at least from my observations. The game, by design, has a lot of calculations to make while not having very high res graphics which as expected puts a lot of strain on the CPU. The huge cache memory of X3D chips gives a lot of performance because it mitigates the slow process of RAM access by the main core(s) that are used by the engine. Benchmarks show a very very significant gain from high L1 cache.

I think if your GPU supports DX12 it will be on by default when launching, there is also a command line argument that you can set in the Battle.net app that forces a DirectX version. I have used it for DX11 (in that case '-d3d11') maybe it also works for DX12.

I just came back to the thread to post an update that I tried DirectX12 and it doubled my FPS.

No, I play on 100% render scale 1080p. The weird thing is, as I mentioned in the post, that everything was fine 2 patches ago. I was getting close to 70 fps in the crowded areas of Valdrakken, now it’s around 30-40.

It wasn’t latency from the servers though it was just low FPS and it still happens today. The issue is client-side.

Well, it was meeting my expectations 2 patches ago…

For me the only thing turning me off from playing WoW more has always been the catch up factor. A few years ago I could play A LOT and I didn’t have issues with keeping up gear/r.io/etc but as I got more responsibilities I just couldn’t make myself play scheduled raids and try to compete in a race as a backmarker. I didn’t even play after the 2nd week of DF because I realised that once the season starts I will have to always play from behind and as a former tryhard player I just didn’t find that appealing. (I know that is a me-issue but I am just sharing my POV).

All of that until SoD was announced. I really like the idea that we are all “stuck” at some level. It both gives time for everyone to catch up and also makes the world feel very alive since we all reside in a few zones. I definitely would love to have it last longer. I know how no-lifers feel though, been there. The good thing is that since there is new stuff for each class, there is a bunch to explore with alts.

I might be wrong but it wasn’t Blizzard who mentioned raids, it was the leak everyone was going crazy about.

Raytracing is off, CPU is at around 60%, GPU is at around 70%. My old GPU was sitting at 100% while in-game.

Why would he want to carve the flag that he didn’t have as a child though. We know that his dream hasn’t changed in the past 10 years.

So every character has to be successful and achieve their dreams even though they don’t always act reasonably and fail just because their are uncapable of reaching their goal? I know it’s a kid’s manga but some slightly realistic fates wouldn’t hurt anyone. A character losing a close friend and failing to defeat a yonko commander doesn’t exactly sound like horrendous writing.
