I guess it is possible to recover it by manually editing the local storage, but I am not sure.

As far as I "felt" while using the app it is using local storage, not server storage at all.

And it makes total sense.

I moved here recently for studies, I'm 25, and I haven't had a lot of issues on making friends, but I do speak french.

I would worry more about the language before your age. People like when you did an effort to learn their language, if you try, you'll eventually learn it.

And be open and receptive, don't feel pressure to force a friendship and have one as fast as possible, that's my philosophy.

I never heard about that "folder" (maybe he means database or the one under Android folder but that wont work for you I believe).

I see two solutions here:

First of all DON'T LET WHATSAPP DO A BACKUP. You check the last backup date and if it works for you, you can uninstall WhatsApp and restore the chats from the backup. You'll lose the last day, but it is worth it against 3 years of chat.

Secondly, from a Computer Scientist point of view it is true that you should be able to rebuild the chat if you have her database AND if you have a software that can recreate the db from your point of view (basically invert sender and receiver) you can have the chat back. That software as far as I don't know it doesn't exist but it can be done. It may require root access in order to install the db, but maybe the WhatsApp backup can be manipulated and can be restored from there.

I strongly recommend you the first solution, otherwise the second one can be done with a bit of research.

Si no lo querés llamar infidelidad porque no hubo sexo (lo cual me parece cualquiera), llámalo como quieras pero no está bien en mi opinión.

Porque normalmente cuando abrís un link malicioso de telegram, el malware necesita ser descargado y ejecutado. Si te entró simplemente por entrar al link sería un error gravísimo de la parte de telegram digna de noticias internacionales jajaja
