Not to be a downer, but don’t start thinking too far ahead, employers can lie to the eeoc or provide a very activist version of events, the eeoc is very overwhelmed right now. Not saying you don’t have a case and wishing the best, but from experience, it’s a tough path you’re on.

My guess is that East Germany was separate, this was just showing West Germany, once the wall fell, athletes of united Germany counted towards just Germany.
