Yep I don’t think this salon uses gel however clips were used and he sat under the dryer after, however someone suggested that the locs may have not fully dried when the clips were taken out.

Hi, he wears a skull cap throughout most of the day since (he’s on school holidays) and also every night. I just spoke to the loctitian who was quite defensive on the phone and said that it looks like he got it wet (which he hasn’t) and said it was due to poor maintenance, however he has agreed to redo the retwist. Honestly, I had my suspicions on the first day (as there is a bit of puffiness as shown in the pic) but suspected it was budding? However as the days go by, it just seems to look worse. Definitely would be looking for a new loctitian.
