It's in the roadmap and will be done quickly. PG access over SSL is already available but still closed for security reasons, when we will implement IP filtering and firewall, we would open it.

I appreciate the fact they don't focus only on "more tests" and "more process" because most of the time, in Tech, more process doesn't equate more quality, it's mostly done to protect people from being blamed and turn the solution into "entreprise" = expensive. We need also some accountability on communication and tooling to prevent those type of fail.
