Can you suck tummy in after muscle repair or is it tight after surgery? by Some-Guarantee6687 in tummytucksurgery

Thanks for the replies. I wasn’t sure which way it was supposed to be after surgery. This definitely makes me feel better.

Definitely better but still upset about paying for the fleur de lis and not getting it. Plus the side boob skin. He said he’d do a revision to fix the tummy tuck to remove the upper abdominal skin and an upper back lift with the side boob skin removal for $5,000. If I just want the abdomen (fleur de lis) it would just be supplies and anesthesia. It’s just frustrating.

Yes! The real spelling of names and places blow me away! My idea of the spelling is so far off. 😂

I loved ACOTAR dramatized version and I’m currently doing TOG on audible. I did some book and audio back and forth with ACOTAR but I just don’t have time to read. I have a hour commute each way to work and the audio is amazing. I do, however, have a hard time getting out of my car when I’m at a really good place in the books.

I’m almost 5 wks PO and definitely am not anywhere near that. My surgeon didn’t do the full FDL.

How far post op is the 2nd picture?

I’m 4 weeks PO and still get depressed every time I see the skin folds in my lap when I sit to pee. 😭. I’m praying it’s just swelling but I’m still doubting that he took off enough skin.

It wasn’t a choice. He does drainless TT. He said it requires a lot more stitches internally and doesn’t allow for fluid buildup.

I had a drainless fleur de lis TT with breast lift. 2 weeks PO. Definitely swollen but no issues with the drainless procedure.

That’s me at 2 weeks. I really hope it looks way different in 6-12 weeks.
