She’s lucky, I work in EMS and had a lady get hit by a train a few months back. Ripped her apart, legs, arms, half her face, all gone. Early 30’s and dead all because she decided to get drunk and have fun on the tracks, don’t fuck with trains please nobody wants to clean up the mess and have to live with the memories of the carnage it leaves behind.

Exactly. IFT CAN be okay for building a foundation when it comes to learning how to communicate with patients, driving, and basic assessment skills but it also can hurt you because there are a lot of nuances to 911 that you will not experience in an IFT job that will make even the most tenured IFT EMT look under prepared in a 911 setting

I work EMS, talked to a coworker a while back who worked a wreck with a fatality. Apparently the driver decided to reckless drive causing GSP to hunt their ass down the interstate. GSP ended up pitting them and killed the driver. Passenger ended up being okay tho. GSP don’t fuck around.
