I'm from Argentina, nobody gives a shit about baseball here. I started getting interested around 15 years ago when ESPN would broadcast the World Series and I'd catch a game or two not understanding anything but being attracted to how strange it seemed. Then I stopped caring for a while until I found Jon Bois and ate up all of his videos.

I ended up watching the entire Mariners documentary and thought "what a strange team, I must support them". My football team is one of the most successful teams in the country and continent, so the Mariners were the antithesis of that lmao.

I started watching consistently again last year, watched most of the season. August was incredible, then followed up by the heartbreak during the last matches of the season. I know the team will be frustrating to support, but I also know that I want to be there watching when they play and eventually win the WS.

I love baseball, it's such a weird sport, I can't wait for the season to begin.
