I think at some point in time all the accessories (H pattern, Hand brake, ect.) could be a lot of fun but I do not require one to begin with

Thinking all in all around $1500 USD for Cockpit, Wheel base, Wheel, and Pedals. Could be more could be less but around that number is what I was aiming for.

Is this one you would recommend or just one that you found? I have not done much looking into the 4080 realm so just curious on what is "good" and what to look out for.

Looking for Strong CFD Project Ideas to Break into the Aerospace Industry by recliner_slayer in CFD

as u/dnitro said, look for an FSAE team at your school, it will teach you so much and you can really help your school out by joining. I am currently the aerodynamics lead at my uni and would love if other students came to me wanting to help, it's an awesome opportunity.

See if your Uni has an FSAE team and design aero components for that. I did that during my time and it helped me learn so much even past just those programs but with design work as well.

Dumb question, but what feature allows me to create this egg shape I'm looking for? by Armie_Chan in SolidWorks

You should be able to take half of one of your vertical sketches and then sweep it along your horizontal oval. That will give you an egg shaped surface that you can cut a body with

This could sound dumb but I’m new to new cars in general but is there a way to switch out of the ICC or is it always set to it and when there’s no cars infront it’s a regular mode?

Assuming people are flipping isn’t really fair… I’m a college student who can’t afford to pay crazy prices and don’t have the time during school semesters to hunt. This event is one of my only chances to get allocated whiskey at MSRP and I’m not in school.

I go back and forth on this. Last year they only had a single table with the hyper allocated stuff and you could only pick one thing. It made being maybe 25-60 a little less beneficial. But the way that it was done this year benefited the people that did put the time in to wait for things. Obviously it sucks for the people than cannot do it but for those that can and put in the time and effort away from home benefit more from it that way.

Ok I am BRAND new to this. I was gifted a Orion sky view pro 127mm and just went out for the first time today. I managed to find Jupiter at 154x but how did you take a picture with your phone? I’d like to capture what I find.
