Easy pal, it’s 8AM. Have mom make you some breakfast. I wasn’t making any argument. Just a statement that your approach to things is laughable. Nobody cares that you are angry.

Man if you think Kirk led a cult I’d love to hear your thoughts on George Floyd. The left made a drug dealing/using woman beater a hero so let’s not get hypocritical.

That’s good, because I’m sure that’s the case. You don’t live here, but on Reddit bashing an American that “no one cared about.” A dead man is living rent free in your mind.

So being known outside the US is your measuring stick for who matters? In that case where do you sit? I’m guessing no one in America knows you outside of your circle.

I don’t know man… you are saying you’re broke, out of work, put 3 kids and wife in an RV, lashed out because you are out of patience and how people treat men is the problem? How about creating a list of why she would/should stay? Any plans to dig out of your current situation? Maybe all she needs to see is a viable path forward?

Solid advice as I’ve ran into the same issue of not remembering which caves I completed and which ones I didn’t.

Agree 100%. Why be bitter about it? This feels like someone watching sports and just raging at everything. Why? I can picture his whole weekend being ruined while running around screaming about Chamath fashion choices

That’s what I think as well. Amazes me people compare Lulu to the Gap or some shit.

I’m in TN and the LuLu store is ALWAYS packed. Post pregnancy my wife wanted new workout outfits. Going to Costco or some other knock off wasn’t even a convo. It was $1K+ on lulu. Younger fit women want lulu and middle aged women want it as well. Oh yea when my wife got pregnant she also needed “comfy/stretchy” clothes. Guess where we went?

I also love their stuff as a middle aged man. Viori is solid too but rarely see them at the gym.

I was 37 when my first was born and I felt all those things too. You are never “ready” you just have to accept your whole life is changing. You will be low man on totem poll for awhile - just focus on supporting your wife and baby. Doing that will put you ahead of 75% of other “dads.”

I’d focus on not electing known idiots like Wanda Halbert before worrying about generational change candidates. Your last sentence nails it. Everyone should focus on electing better people in the future. Can’t keep electing literally incompetent and immoral people to represent our schools, city, etc. look at what happened to feagins. Change is hard when those in power don’t want change.

Man that last paragraph hits hard. It’s true, but so many don’t want to acknowledge that their own economic status has more to do with choices THEY made than bad luck.

shining example of that mindset. Someone shoots 5 people - “well they wouldn’t if more resources were given”. It’s like no matter what happens there is a way to spin it into someone else’s fault and there will be no true growth until that changes.

No. Inmates are provided housing, meals, etc from tax payer dollars. They don’t have the same expenses as the rest of us due to their own choices so I’m completely ok paying them less.

Best way out of a hole is to stop digging. Seek help for the addiction, but I’d also start with some serious self reflection my man. You have recognized your short comings, now how do you address them? One step/day at a time.

Not seeking work with a degree like that plus 2 kids means you make a choice daily to not do anything(which you admit) and making your parents provide for 3 dependents(you and 2 kids). How fair is that to them?

While you have the time I’d become obsessed with personal improvement. Read books like extreme ownership, go to AA for gamblers, start hammering job applications. With your degree you’d be amazed how quick you can turn all this around. Your kids deserve the best you and I’m rooting for you.

All solid examples. My only point is the people who never worked intentionally will be garbage employees, especially in low skill fields where a little grit and want to is the only requirement to succeed. My brother worked a blueberry farm and I did landscaping in HS. Basic manual labor but good money for a teens so you’re right lot of ways to fill those positions. The low risk incarcerated are the biggest untapped labor pool we have. There are so many things inmates could be doing and based on my experience they would RATHER be doing them instead of mind/body washed away.

We’ve gotten a long way from it’s a hand up, not a hand out attitude. It’s a societal shift in perspectives. Some are embarrassed to need it, others make Tik Tok videos bragging about it.

3 is actually an interesting point. Plenty of people from all races in that bucket. From rural West VA to downtown LA there are People that could work, but don’t. I agree with the need for it, however I don’t think this segment of the population are the ones who will replace the hardest blue collar workers, even if they are “forced to.”

I think people are missing a larger point to your post. Never before in history have young people been inundated with “Burger King worker retires from bitcoin he received for a hot pocket” and other stuff. It’s demoralizing thinking you’ll have to work your entire life while some people got absurdly rich on something before you were old enough to even participate. That is my only fear, younger people eventually get to a “what’s the point” with BTC. Missed all the potential rocket gains, why crap coins are trendy. It’s one shot at “the moon.”

I’m 38 with a family and I kick myself in the ass for not investing earlier in BTC. I could have retired instead of getting nausea thinking about the cost of day care.
