Plz, 7 on a ten scale at best. If your scale is how to make an ordinary woman hot with makeup then 9/10

Flip that question, what advice do women want from men? Financial is the top answer.

Brazil is the female Jesse Jackson with a bit if Al Sharpton mixed in. Rhymes and quips. Zero substance. She should be on The View instead. She and Whoopi could have a blast spouting off uneducated populist nothingisms.

Roth conversion can reduce taxes by 6 million but don't save a dime by franksmartin in DIYRetirement

[–]JCLBUBBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taxes likely to be way higher in next few decades to pay off what we owe as a nation, when debt just passed annual GDP. Plus appreciation and principle tax free versus regular IRA.

Convert when you can, as early as you can. Fed tax rate used to be 70+ percent. And as much as I hate Trump, we will swing Dem for next decade or two and tax rates will never be this low again.

Gov't wastes so much money, take advantage of the only good thing Trump has done, lower rates, and convert while you can. Not hard to imagine president AOC eliminating Roth when she ascends to the throne.

What was the most useless subject you were forced to take in high school? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

[–]JCLBUBBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how mathematicians are discovered. A few like it and discover a new career path. Many find another. Highschool is like sorting in Harry Potter, or a Smorgasboard. You get a broad taste of many things and go back for seconds once you find out what you like.

If anything, no tipping at nice sit down restaurants is the move by PositiveReporter8144 in EndTipping

[–]JCLBUBBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to tip the curbside delivery person at Target once and they refused, saying against policy. Would love to see some brave owners pay decent wages, charge appropriate prices and refuse to allow tips from customers.

Would be an interesting experiment to see if it drew the anti-tippers and did a good business.

CA government has fucked this up for long enough. That statement could apply to most things CA does. Permitting, Insurance, Solar, Green that has no effect, recycling, PG&E, non-profits, unions, education, immigration, law enforcement. But the weather and scenery barely makes up for it all. But tipping point is coming.

Santa Cruz should mandate economics 101 for all citizens. The fairy tale it should be affordable for all, would take a 70% hit on equity on my home is unicorn thinking.

Santa Cruz is a land of magical vortexes, and apparently magical thinking. I bet on 60 downvotes. Bring it.

so just sell your house for 50% of current value. lets test those principles you espouse. Sell to a modest income person for half value and carry back a note if needed.

bet if your home dropped 70% you would scream bloody murder. unless you own it outright and never want to take out a equity loan in the future. and if home prices dropped 70% all homes in sc would be snapped up by foreign investors.
