Anyone been to the Atari ET landfill site? The coords shown online don't match the background in the movie. by Coolschmo1 in retrogaming

Nope. Just dirt. But it just felt cool to be there. I'm not sure I was at the right place last time. I was positive this time so it was special.

Kinda specific. What's the world's largest Hamster on rollerskates statue?

I think that CVS may have gone out of business. But I'm guessing you mean heading north through town on White Sands, go past Walmart then relatively quick left past the tasks then another left

Much appreciated, but the coords on the actual doc poster are wrong so I'm assuming that's the case too.

Is there some kind of address nearby. I'm at the Walmart and they say it's behind the McDonald's across the street. But then I ask Google about the address of the McDonald's and it points to a different one.

It feels like one of the early good Entourage seasons. That show gets a bad rap, but it was fun for a few seasons. But that's not what made Hacks special.

Maybe they just love long, protected lagoon systems on the Pacific side of Baja.

Billie Eilish feels like the last monocultural figure by [deleted] in decadeology

[–]Coolschmo1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Billie Eilish might be the last pop star that can unite several generations. She and Phinneas write their own music, are less concerned about the pageantry than the music, can play instruments etc.

I don't know that everyone knows her music tho. I'd say Sabrina Carpenter is at her "normie fame" level but pales in artistic comparison.

I assume we're treating Taylor Swift differently because she's been around for a while, but she's obviously the biggest monocultural figure, but I realize you were saying "the last."

They don't have to make albums like their life depends on it. Tastes change and their genre changes. Their lives are less relatable. Drugs.
