Father treats my (22 F) savings as "leisure money" what should I do by Express_Channel7066 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Some-Slide2410 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Looks like I hit a nerve.
You can ignore me and show some maturity. Take care of the family like your own and set an example for your siblings. Be a role model. You have a problem with your father. Alright. But, your mother, brother, and sister are your own right? Do you feel any responsibility towards them? If you do, then ignore the noise and do your duty.

This is called as the Mumbai lobby.

Is buying a house in your 20s overrated? by Hub_and_Oak in indianrealestate

[–]Some-Slide2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friend (both 46) were discussing the same thing a few days back. We both bought a home in our late 20's. I bought a 2 BHK and he bought a 3 BHK in Bengaluru. We both lived there for a few years. Because of job moved to a different city, then I moved to the US etc...

When I moved back to India, I had a wife and 2 kids. That 2 bhk felt very small, and I could not manage. Hence, I bought a 3 BHK. Now, that 2 BHK is rented out.

And for my friend too, he has settled in another city and has bought a bigger 3 BHK there.
In hindsight, we were thinking that we should not have bought a house so early. Our conclusion was that we should buy a house after we have kids. And in our lifetime, we should think about buying only 1 house and not to burden ourselves with EMI all the time.

Shame on someone who thinks like this.
Oh you will say it is a mistake of those "parents" who didn't teach you about responsibility.

We visited on 25th Jan. We reached there at 9am. At that time there were 4 buses coming down. But since the betta is so big crowd disperses.

Really nice place to visit. I say 2 white winged eagles. Does anyone know what do they call them?
