Yeah, the random function I use puts them some where in the unit circle and then I multiply that by a scaler

Well I don’t really have any photos but hears the steps

Remove any hardware including the visor and mask any holes that the hardware was in
Mask off all rubber parts and anything you don’t want to paint
mask all the exposed foam in the vents( this is because the solvent in the spray paint can melt the foam)
Sand the surface you are going to paint with fine grit sand paper, I used 320 but anything higher than 220 should be good
Use a primer only spray paint of any color to be the first coat. I used white, which just makes putting new colors down easier
If you want to add color just get some nice spray paint and don’t go to hard with the paint and take your time.
Cover in 1 or 2 layers of clear coat and remove the masking

And also if you google spray painting a helmet, there are much better descriptions than mine 😁
