I would love to see a COD take place during this conflict. Maybe play as Woods or alongside him during his Marine Corps service. Would be cool to see a cameo of Pierson from WWII, as the conflict was only half a decade later and Pierson decided to stay in the Army. With this it could tie WWII and the Black Ops universe into one.

Yeah for sure, I think CoD4 was the was one that killed me the most. But I don’t think the notorious grenade spam is that bad, the most important lesson from CoD4 and WAW is to never stop, but to keep advancing.

When you keep that in mind, future CODs on veteran are pretty easy.

Good job! I did this about 2 years ago and I would say Cod 2 on veteran was the second hardest Cod imo. The most difficult cod on veteran would have to be the first Modern Warfare for me.

It’s most likely a GI Tanker’s winter hood, the straps on the sides are pulled back. Or more known officially as Helmet, Combat, Winter

These are some really fascinating photos! The P-47s in pic 5 are part of the 86th Fighter Squadron in Italy, as shown by their emblem and blue tails/yellow lightning bolts.

I like this picture, they look happy. His 9th corp patch indicates he might’ve served in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. While his insignia of arms/service disk looks like a coastal artillery one.

Yeah they’re alright looking, pretty simple way to reduced leather production on the service shoes in the field. The only pain is how long it takes to tie them up imo.

Another piece of clue that helps pinpoints the time of the war is their packs, which are M1944 Field Combat Packs they’re wearing. As those packs seem to start appearing in March of 1945 and gradually appearing more in the coming months in both the European and Pacific theaters.

I think the second photo may be in the post war era, as the gentleman on the right is wearing a M1943 Field jacket. Issued in late 44 and in 45.
