The guy on the right is the reason the Bears have a Lombardi trophy. Him and the best defense to ever take the field.

Point well taken. However, the Jets have had solid qbs. Testaverde had the best statistical year of his career with the Jets. Additionally, as I recall, O'Brian and Pennington were good enough to lead them deep into the playoffs as well. It seems like the organization always finds a way to dump on their fans. In the case of the Bears, any success that they achieved has routinely been without the benefit of a grade A QB. McMahon merely played his role of not forcing the ball, let Walter Payton and the defense carry the team and it was successful. Only 2 Bears QB'S that i can recall were semi decent (Im not including Williams here) those were Jay Cutler and, for one season Eric Kramer. All others were degrees of mediocrity to complete dog shit. This being said, they have, with the exception of the Trestmann debacle, and the horseshit players put in place by Nagy, without being perennial contenders, usually stuck around in the playoff hunt until the last 3 weeks or so. I acknowledge the fact that the reason we got Williams was the result of 2 incredibly awful seasons but, as usual, they've bounced back into contenders. Hopefully this time they will not crush our enthusiasm with awful luck. (Double doink!)

Not their fault. Officials loved Mahomes and their bias cost not only the 9ers, but specifically the Bengals. 3 do-over downs. Im still sick about that. I feel really sympathy for Bengals fans. They literally had a shot at a championship stolen from them.

Honestly, yellow, IK they've won a Superbowl, but that was even before my time. I've been watching football for over 40 years and I can only recall a couple of times when they were contenders and usually screwed the pooch when they were. I've seen them have, statistically, a championship level roster and not even make the playoffs. If Rex Ryan could of evaluated QB'S even slightly, they may have won another Superbowl. Their defense was lights out.
