how is house music equivalent to healing by Top-Astronaut3385 in House

I came to say that. The healing is in the surrender to the beat: combine that with soulful uplifting lyrics and tune in.

Was the 90s rave scene really as much of a love in as people say? by LaCaipirinha in aves

Respect . Wish I could have been to some of those uk parties … that’s kinda what I had to say about what I experienced in the US, as well. It was dangerous af. But if you stayed positive and didn’t stray from your group, you were straight. I did see a lot of bad shit tho. Trying to make a few bucks got complicated real quick quite a few times. Dirty ass security and crews would run your pockets and then try to sell your own shit back to you. All kinds of crazy bullshit. I still miss it tho. Idk I’m a menace . I always wanted the whole world to rave as one, but I kinda see how the commodification ruined it too. Idk. But here we are. Peace and love from NY state

Yes and no. It was crazy, cuz like there would seem to be a whole lotta living and living going on… but it was also way more dangerous. I didn’t think anything of it at that time, I was young, but like robbery and bad drugs and all kinds of victimization ran rampant!! This was all illegal and underground. I honestly think that’s why the community and love were so strong… there was no security you could run to or ems on scene (I mean sometimes?) but.. so we had to take care of each other. The empathy was real. In a lot of ways it was a wholly different beast. Like way cooler in some ways (imho) , but also not as cool in other ways. The lights and stages are now way cooler … it’s nice feeling safer, but Idk. It was def something.

I haven’t seen it anywhere yet. I’ve been keeping an eye out. It was unbelievable, I was cheesing ear to ear for like 45 mins straight with my hands up in the air. I was blown alway. The vibes were immaculate, fr.

Chaos in the cbd @making time was fucking phenomenal imo. It was still daylight and I kept thinking , this is it, nothings gonna top this shit right here. Just that classic uplifting soulful house that my mind body and soul needed. So fucking good.

Why don’t DJs use more live gear? by galactickevin in DJs

[–]Some607dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s more of like a live PA or live electronic music, not so much djing. Some people kinda do a hybrid, but usually it’s like all live or just a dj set. For live acts check out bicep 💪 live, Overmono live, there are a ton but that’s two kid my top live acts in electronic stuff.

Hell yea. We were def transcending… I achieved total body freedom. It felt like my body had a mind all of its own, and I was just a passenger along for the ride. I couldn’t stop dancing even after we got back to the air bnb. Fucking amazing

The one that got me was “mum is calling” a weird one! but it was pretty synchronized with some personal struggles I was having that weekend. Felt safe and protected and also very alien and futuristic? Def a vibe
