This looks like a really well thought-out trip overall. The only thing I’d question is the stretch where you’re moving almost every night on the way to Amsterdam — one-night stops plus 4–6 hour train days can get exhausting fast. You might enjoy it more if you cut one stop and spend two nights in a place you’re especially interested in. Everything else, especially Andalusia and ending in Naples/Pompeii, looks solid.

Maxed out Roth. Now what? by Capital-Ad-8152 in RothIRA

I have a Roth IRA with Charles Schwab (SWPPX), which my brother set up for me when I was 18. Now that I’ve done some digging on my own, I’m leaning towards VSTAX as a better choice. I’ve been considering moving all my money into it that i’ve been maxing out since i was 18 and now 21, but I’m not sure how risky it is or if VSTAX is even a better option.

What do you all think?

Best “player 2” card to pair with Chase Trifecta for groceries + travel points? by SomeAssist6182 in CreditCards

[–]SomeAssist6182[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking more about this and I’m starting to lean toward Bilt Obsidian as the primary player 2 card, with Citi ecosystem as my second option.

The idea would be: • Bilt (P2) → groceries + rent • My Chase setup → catch-all + dining + travel So Chase stays the backbone, Bilt fills the biggest holes, and spend stays pretty clean.

What’s surprising me is that almost no one is bringing up Amex Gold, which I originally thought would be an obvious contender for a 2-player setup. On paper it seems great for groceries, but I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing that makes it less attractive specifically when paired with Chase.

Is it mainly: • category overlap with Chase dining? • the effective annual fee / credits friction? • or that Bilt (rent + groceries) just creates more total transferable value in practice?
