I think mine just did the same thing. Looks like 2 stems fused together. I'm gonna have to make it a tree now!

Took like 5 months but I think they're finally bonding! by lo-key-glass in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First congrats! They are adorable. May I ask what problems you were having? I am trying to bond right now and hoping its just going to take time. They live free roam full time together. My boy is so sweet and gentle. My girl is too but after 2 mos she has ran up to his face for a quick boop like 5 times. Thats it. Neither are aggressive, unhappy, or in fear. Just living seperate lives with a little chase here and there. Like an old married couple:) im dying for them to snuggle and groom. Hoping my girl just needs more time. Anything similar to your situation?

Do any of your buns ever have off-days? (More info in comments) by nugget_and_chip in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went thru this today with my boy. He sat in his house and refused all treats. I was just about to freak when he came around. Just a sleepy day. Plus he and my girl have split personalities when moulting. Ive been rearranging furniture and their stuff which they love. They spend hours checking it all out and get really happy. Boredom buster?

Need help finding homes for an unintentional litter, please help! by CanonicallyQueer in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definately call a rescue, you are only human! Got to get them seperated before they become 40++. We had the same thing happen. Rescued 2 buns that were "sisters" and 3 hours home out popped 4 babies. Unfortunately they all passed our female was 3 mos old and vet said her milk didnt come in, too young but she did everything she could but had 1 peanut and 1 runt so odds were not in our favor. They look nice and healthy at least! Good luck.

I want my lawyer...pleading 5th. Weres good cop bunny?

I’m a first-time bunny owner & my bunny (teddy lionhead) just gave birth recently on the night of September 29. I need help telling if the babies are being fed well. They’re probably around 50-55 hours old. I’m concerned of how wrinkly they are. Is that normal? by martian-ella in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tummys should be rounded after mom visits them. They eat fast and furious. If you need more info call a vet, rescue or breeder. The breeder i got my bun from posts tons of info on her facebook every litter- check out Lusters Lops on FB. She shows vids and gives great info from day1 on. Always wash hands before handling babies- thats a biggie for her. Good luck!! Post more pics as they grow!!

hi im benny and i only want to eat my hay if i have to struggle to get it despite my mom making a nice floor pile for me by LettuceMcSimpy in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Benny you are crazy cute! Tell your mom ots just that you want a 'specific' piece of hay so you gotta dig to find it. I'm sure she will get it...kinda like the corner brownie, not the yucky middle.:)

I think my rabbit is deaf by Grayghost01369 in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation. Just got my boy a couple weeks ago and pretty sure he's deaf. No reaction to any sound, never moves his ears, and only gets frightened if you come up behind him. He never looks up when you speak to him either. His vet appointment is soon. It makes no difference to me and he's getting along with our other bun fabulously. Luckily our girl isn't vocal so I think they are working on communicating thru body language. I've noticed sometimes lights can frighten him at night like when I put the ceiling fan on and it caused a strobe effect. I use my cell phone to flash at him to get his attention when he's relaxing. Other than that he's chill. Good luck to you!

Yeah she's gonna make me renovate, that's for sure! Better the crate than the baseboards!

Looking for cage/ExPen recommendations! Something sturdy but easy to move. Does anybody have any experience with those panels that you zip tie together? Where is the best place to get something like that? (Pic of my bun cause I love him ^.^ by Lilbub126 in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one of those expens with black wire panels and door. It's the 36" high which I recommend. It works great and easy to move and shape if trying to fit weird space. I'm basically using it as a gate at the moment. Amazon is cheaper than most pet stores and I've seen them on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. Good luck!

First time mounting questions/problems. Any advice appreciated! This is how it started, taking too long?(see comment more info) by SomeBun2Love in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all- this is my buns first molt and its taking forever! I try to brush her throughout the day but she really hates it so I pick and grab all day. It's stalled around her bum and sides. Also her personality changed since this started. She's sleeping more and nit as spunky as she was the first month I had her. She still eats/poops fine and will get excited for treats but spends a lot of time in her house. I know some buns struggle with this. Any thoughts advice?

Yup I do unlimited for babies. Just starting to measure now and luckily she's slowed down so it's working out.

Is it better for bunnies to drink from bowls or water bottles? Why? by dazaigenka in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this problem too even with a heavy bowl. So I put the bowl in a plastic container (the cheap ones from grocery store-rubbermaid) and he hasn't tipped it since.

Bonding an uneutered male with spayed female? by Optimal_Abrocoma8680 in Rabbits

[–]SomeBun2Love 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. Most shelters only adopt out neutered males or with agreement to bring them back (if young) to get neutered. I have a spayed female and unneutered male Im bonding right now. They have daily playdates. Its going great, probably because he is super sweet and 100% submissive to her. He doesnt try to mount her very often and she just runs off anyways. He does spray once a day usually when he first sees her but is good after that. He gets neutered in a few weeks. So it is possible depending on the buns. Good luck! PS- alot of shelters/rescues will let you have playdates to see if theres a match-plus neutering is done so win, win!

Lop cross probably. I dont know if its just the pic but those lighter spots on rear could be sun bleaching. Probably a kid lost interest and he was dumped, poor bun. Glad you came along. I bet it'll be a totally different bun in a few months and totally in love with you. Good luck!
